Brad Icenhour​ thats the drivers fault though, turbo drivers should know they cant spool the turbos for too long like that, thats why most bump in last. if i seen a turbo guy bump in all the way right away before me, ill take the all time i have to bump in, its just part of the sport.

probably worth identifying the dude who is talking about the boost and power level of duy's 240 at the beginning is tuner chris delgado from D3, who tunes pretty much all the crazy turbo shit in houston. iirc he tuned the blue tt viper that won rwd at TI, and the black TT vette from tx2k15 with the turbos sticking out of the hood. really awesome dude and badass tuner.

It's messed up to do the guy made the turbo car wait while he was spoiled up and it heats the turbo up real bad and I'm guessing the turbo melts because it heats up so bad! Atleast I think that's what it is

+fizzyman1224 It doesn't melt the turbo, though it probably isn't great for it. It does send the inlet air temp through the roof, though, since the intercooler can't do much when the car is stationary. That costs hp.

+Fruit Sale Basically the Nova, the first race, didn't stage right away. It's a dick move for turbo cars because they can literally melt there turbo if they stay on the 2-step for too long. If not melt, it really hurts the turbo. I'm pretty sure.

The 2 step is a rev limiter basically. It cuts spark. This means extra fuel goes in the turbo. When it's ignited it literally explodes in the turbo so the turbo makes full boost. Also your loading your transmission big time. And cooking your torque converter too. Both are really bad if you stage to long. As seen here.

Kyle Bristol the 2jz is an engine. It originally came in the Toyota Supra around the 90’s. This one is nowhere near stock though( stock meaning not modified). This thing has many modifications to be this powerful.

Voroseeg yes, but displacement and weight are not linear. a fully dressed LS weighs 458lbs. a viper v10 weighs 712lbs a 2JZ weighs 594lbs

+tr0n If the heads, intake, and exhaust don't flow, it doesn't matter how much boost you jam into it. With todays turbo and EFI technology, I agree, displacement isn't what it used to be. Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who has an 8 liter V10 - with shitty flow.
