Wheel is to big and the tire is to small, get a 15" wheel and a good slick. I put my slicks and a jack in my trunk and drive it to the track. Cool car! Love to see other MKII's out there.

Better tyres would help of course. Also the Celica Supra has a 54/46 weight distribution. Shaving off weight in the front or adding weight in the back should help. The 2jzgte is also a slightly lighter engine than the stock 5mge. So that might have helped already. See if you can transfer the battery to the rear.
