I recently starting destroying spark plugs and my IS smokes a lot. so obviously I have to do stem seals. I have watched MULTIPLE videos of people doing this, your video gave me the most confidence to tackle the job. Thanks for this.

Im about to order the tool you linked in the description, I just want to double check. I am sure its perfectly fine, would this blue tool be fine to use on a stock valve train for removal and installation of the seals? this will be done on a stock 2jzge

what did you find worked the best to get the rubber debris that was left over out ? Also I use the toyo tool but have to muscle it, that is a cool spring compression tool i have never seen before to put the keepers in. Do you have that because of aftermarket springs? If i recall the stock springs didnt have a top or a bottom like a beehive or conical, i remember the springs being the same at both ends? Nice work btw!

I use long nose pliers to remove the rubber debris. This tool makes it easier to work with, toyotool is good but higher chance to have keepers flying everywhere. These springs beehive, the go in one way

hey what pitch size and then length are those 2 Philip screws for connecting the valve spring compressor tool onto the cam cap holes? Def wanna try that tool out over the toyotool

@@RyanSammutRacing lmao! The world ended lol. Cams go in after the last 4 valves in cylinder 4. Wanted to skip and do the hard ones so they’d were done. Then slide belt back on the gears. I seen you did that way as well

I have the toyo tool and i cant push it far enough for it to lock so i bought that subaru tool you have but i wanted to ask is it fine if it sits on the dowel pins as opposed to the actual head?
