Oh my God! This is one of the highest quality badmintons I have ever seen! This is in fact the Olympics Gold Medal level match... See the deception in the game from both, the sharpness of shots they played... Hats off to both. The singles game in today's era is nowhere near this quality. Absolute treat to eyes this match

And its because just doing well against someone, doesn't mean its true you can do well against someone else they can overcome. Take LCW for example, clearly faster and more athletic than WZM but look at how he plays against LD when physically comparing stats.

Just because you did well once doesn't necessarily translate into a long lasting career.

Because in major other tournaments he later faced LCW, and he kicked his ass. In Malaysia open and other major tournaments, because in tournaments like those it all comes down to pure confidence, which LCW & LD have developed over the years. P.S- Confidence brings killer instinct

the score was 18-21, 29-27, 18-21. WZM did give LD a hard time in this match

Wangzeng ming is most underrated player. He is the worst nightmare Lindan opponent every match.

LD was not in the best shape in this match even though he won. He came back from a long break after the 2012 Olympics. And he made way too many unforce errors in the smashes for his standard.
@monkeyseemonkeydo1794Ай бұрын
Lin Dan said he still maintained a high level of fitness after 2012 London despite not playing badminton. He still maintained training. Just not playing competitively.
@pham1020Ай бұрын
@@monkeyseemonkeydo1794 Competition mentality is important too. It's still gonna impact the game significantly. Like LCW after coming back from the suspension. He was still in good shape, but still took him almost a year to get back his form.

I could tell that Lin Dan was so relaxed and composed playing against WZM and other chinese players. In his carreer, I notice only Lee Chong Wei, Viktor Axelsen and Peter Gade could get Lin Dan to play seriously.
