Hey. I worked on SVR 2009, 2010 and 2011. I wrote and designed RTW and directed cutscenes. Thanks for showing those games so much love with this video! Always fun to look back. Some trivia: Joey Ryan did mocap for Dusty. Cesaro did Edge’s motions in E&C story and Jack Swagger. Paul London did Bourne’s Shooting Star. Aries was Jericho and Cabana played Triple H in Jericho’s SVR 11 story. I wrote the HBK/JBL story well before WWE did their terrible “Shawn is broke” angle.

Haden Sharrard I’m glad you enjoyed the games! THQ doesn’t exist anymore. It’s still Yukes programming the game, though. I haven’t played enough of the 2K games to judge them. But if you liked RTW mode, I can say honestly I was very responsible for its direction and stories. And THQ let me go instead of giving me more credit. I haven’t discussed any future relationship with 2K.

When wwe games realize how incredible this gameplay was for RTW. Most definitely, this mode needs to return. Daniel bryan, Aj Styles, seth Rollins, Sasha banks, and Charlotte need to be the superstars for RTW. It would be a perfect fit.
