Believe it or not, "small" vs "large" condoms are how much slack they give when worn. Small will be tighter around the base and cut circulation on thicker dicks. And "large" gives more slack, with more material, so it doesn't break during sex. I promise you small vs big isn't a case to berate anyone over since people are majorily uninformed about this whole thing.

I've always eyeballed this one, and the 2400g. The 2400g sits about £30 above the 2200g. Does anyone know if the 2400g gives £30 worth of extra performance?
@IQUnder306 жыл бұрын
Generally, more cores is better nowadays. The 2400g does is still a quad-core, but it does have double the threads, and slightly better on-board graphics. But the Ryzen 5 2600 is just a little bit more, (like 5 dollars USD, don't know how much in pounds), and it gets you 2 more cores and 4 more threads. That would be a great boost seeing how in some modern games 4 core CPUs are getting topped out, 100% usage. But if you're looking to use the on-board graphics, I say the 2400g is a perfectly reasonable choice. The extra threads should help with more CPU intensive task, and the graphics is comparable performance-wise to a GTX 750 ti. Hope this helps.
@thrawn91155 жыл бұрын
No. You can get the same performance with a memory overclock. If you really want even more performance, buy a B430 and overclock the fuck out of the CPU and iGPU.

People keep bringing up the fact that Phillip could have changed his motherboard to a less cheap one so that you could overclock the PC even despite the bundle, but I honestly disagree with them. I think that it's fair enough if you saved money through a bundle. I guess if someone wanted to squeeze more performance they could overclock but for people who are new to PC gaming or just mostly computer illiterate, I honestly don't think recommending overclocking is a good idea. People newer to PC gaming will likely not want to spend as much money on their build (or time to learn what is the best and how to overclock) and instead want a simple way to get a PC up and running cheaply. I think Phillips recommendation is placed for the right reasons, and hey at worst this video is a worst case scenario for someone thinking of getting this.
@ScratchCompStudio6 жыл бұрын
Exactly, and that's how I viewed the video myself but then again I started out on a system that could barely run old games at 30 fps, so I guess that's just a mindset thing. I guess in future to avoid the elitist crowd you could preface the video stating that it's for people that just want a quick solution, but hindsight is 20/20.

@0x80876 жыл бұрын
Mercenaru I'm fully aware but you forgot that APUs are entirely reliant on System RAM for their iGPUs, which are allocated amounts of System RAM to be used as VRAM, meaning that the Vega 8 / 11 iGPUs are completely dependant of the System RAM since they don't have their own dedicated VRAM like their dedicated GPU counterparts

@qwertyuiop-ip8rc6 жыл бұрын
It doesn't really matter too much about the engine... a bad developer will still make a bad game with the best game engine and a good developer can still make something good on lesser engines.
@Overphased6 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter to him, because he has money, and it shouldn't matter. Think about it like this, if money isn't an issue and the only factor that's important for your job is high fps or graphics or whatever, than you don't really give a shit that certain CPUs or GPUs give more performance per dollar, the only thing you give a shit about is which ones objectiverly perform better even if they cost idk $1000 more. As another example movie studios have the same mindset with their recording equipment. Now if shroud was giving advice in that video.....that's a different story
@B4ST3i6 жыл бұрын
@dxfxct "the Threadripper is better than his 8700K" Like, for gaming? Not at all. Rendering, probably. But even then 12 threads are still plenty unless you want to to something like encoding 4k in realtime. Unless you have some very CPU heavy workload that supports that number of cores threadripper offers you're better off getting a Ryzen or Intel and Overclock it for even better IPC.

Siege's T-AA is a bit tricky, you should have told us what were your setting exactly, because T-AA renders thing in lower resolution and then uses magic to make it look like there's more pixels than there actually are. Great video, Ryzen is a game changer in countries where graphic cards are considered exclusive items and taxed horribly high. This new CPU might bring more people to gaming and allow for a decent budget rig. Thanks for showing us this, Philip.

Ubisoft's CEO sold his soul in exchange of this cosmic technology they used in Siege. Getting all the settings right is Sisyphean labour, even understanding how it works is beyond many minds. It was a good idea to use benchmark as a solid test environment, it shows pretty much every aspect of the game.

Ryzen APUs are a thing I would love to tinker with, as other people have said with enough patience you can OC, you can thinker with RAM latency down to the nanosecond. If you want low budget this is the way to go, however if you see any deal on the 2400G you should take it, those extra threads will help out a lot even tough the extra GPU horse power might not do much. Its also a provides challenge optimizing both your OS and games while trying to get that "silky smooth 60fps" some .cfgs here and some .inis there and you can most likely achieve it.

My performance was horrible, even worse than you had in the video. With everything set to lowest settings with a custom 800p resolution and further tweaks to Nvidia Inspector to make textures load horrible muddy extreme distance LOD textures and the such, I was barely getting playable 40-ish FPS. u can always look on forums, really helps a lot. i love pc because of the versatility, even on a decent non gaming pc, u can play almost all games till ps3,xbox 360 era, no need to buy different console just to play old games. PCMR is bullshit. yes the first time investment can be high, but if u do your research and buy games on steam sales, its cheaper in the long run.

1050 ti build for $700? You can get an RX 470 (40% faster than 1050 ti) into a $500 build. At $700 you should be looking at a GTX 1060 or RX 480/580.
@saruboss186 жыл бұрын
@@11matt555 it depends on place, on Amazon india the 1050ti is always in stock and is less than half of rx470. Rx470 is 30k whereas the 1050ti is just 13k.

I am really glad that someone figured doing fps tests on a bunch of games since when ever I was looking at graphics card reviews n shit, I never knew how much fps should I expect from it. Thanks for great videos, and no matter if I'm intrested in the game or topic you talk about in them, I always find them interesting. Also, don't scrap an intire video if you don't end up liking it yourself as much as you expected, trhow em out anyways, I bet a lot of people would enjoy em!

I've always stuck to the midrange (currently on i5 4690 and rx 480) and whenever I get a bit of envy for the high end I turn my game down to low and lock it to 30fps. After about 5 minutes of that, I revert it back to how I was playing previously (typically High and up with a consistent 60fps) and I'm instantly happy with what I have again.

I'm not exactly the target demographic but i can appreciate that there are solid gaming entry options for people who aren't ready to take the dive into the deep end right away with a high end graphics card and processor. It's also fun to see just how much juice you can get out of affordable hardware. Nice video.

Seeing a very reality-grounded PC-building video like this is a treat. Some PC-building videos are still way above the general people's budget with the necessity that you MUST achieve 60 FPS at higher than 720p resolutions. So, thanks a lot manykliksphilip for this video as I'm sure a a lot of university students like myself want a cheap but good enough rig that could play at acceptable FPS.

@Mylo_Plays I mean saying its like 20% better for only like £30 more still is a pretty good option. As if you have pretty low FPS that 20% can make a big difference feeling whise.
