Thank you ladies for taking the time to express what my wife has said to me many times. We have ridden from Virginia Beach, VA to 49 of the fifty states and all the provinces in Canada except Newfoundland. Like you, we normally travel with another couple which makes it even better. We met your husbands in Rapid City during the Sturgis rally this year. Josh is a master photographer/editor/story teller and compliments your husbands and you wonderfully. Be safe!

Thanks for watching, Bruce! We had a great time hearing their perspectives as well. Sounds like you guys have had tome awesome travels on the road as well. We've yet to check all 50 states off the list, but we're working towards it and would love to do the same in Canada. Thanks for the support!! Ride safe out there 👍

My best friend (my wife) has ridden with me on a few trips out of state, but hasn’t yet taken a multi-state trip with me, mostly because of her work schedule. She does love riding with me, and of course, I love it when she does too! Since she’s planning on retiring (somewhat) soon, I’m hoping to take her cross-country so she can see more of this great nation. She’s an immigrant, so she sees all the wonders with a slightly different eye than most and really enjoys it. I figured I’d add that some of my favorite videos of yours are those with Laura and Theresa. They add more to the overall experience and I like hearing their opinions of the places you go, the establishments you visit, the food you enjoy, etc. It’s always nice to hear their perspective!
@2LaneLife
@2LaneLife 2 жыл бұрын
Good stuff!!! Sometimes hard to get the schedules to match up, but once she semi retires, hopefully you can get out and hit a multi-state trip and do some exploring. That's awesome, she will certainly have an appreciation for all of the different areas across the country! Thanks for the input! We plan on bringing them along on lots of trips this year. Plenty more to come! Thanks for the support, Joe 👍

My wife and I love the channel, and while we were watching this particular episode with the ladies describing their experiences and how much they love it, my wife kept commenting on how much she agreed with all of the things they were saying. We are avid riders, who take our 2021 Road Glide S (Snake venom color... identical to the one from your Maine trip) to as many scenic destinations as we can squeeze in during the regular riding season. (Being from PA, we are limited to riding early spring to late fall). As the driver of our machine, I can say whole heartedly that the journey would not be nearly as thrilling, without my beautiful co-pilot and best friend on the back seat enjoying every mile as much as I do. So, I love and respect what you wonderful women do with your men on the back of yours, and thank you for supporting them the way mine supports me. Thanks for the great content in this video, and ENJOY THE RIDES!! Stay safe out there :-)

Well said, we couldn't agree more! We're truly grateful for the ability to share that passion for travel and the open road with our wives. Having them on trips, enjoying great meals, and exploring new places is something we wish more couples would seek to experience. Sounds like you two have enjoyed some incredible miles, with plenty more to come! We appreciate your input and support, thank you!

Later on the news we saw that it rained 3" to 4" in the area we road though, And on complaint's!! I LOVE that Women!!! You GIRLS ROCK!! LOVED THE VIDEO!! Thank Again for them!

Great to here your stories ladies . My wife and I have been riding together for about 10 years and enjoy the hell out of it we are from the east coast and our best trip to date was doing an eagle rider tour Arizona ,flagstaff,Williams , the Grand Canyon, Laughlin and Oatman it was a self guided tour and it was absolutely awesome. We ride a 2019 road glide ultra and are 61 I rode as a kid then when we married 2 jobs and house and kids got in the way lol but now they are grown and married and my son rides . When I listened to your stories it was like I was listening to my wife. Thank you and ride safe

Thank you ladies! Nice to hear other wives enjoying riding with their men as much as I do! In 2016 we traded both of our Honda motorcycles for a HD Ultra Limited. I wasn't sure about riding 2 up, but I absolutely love it! We are on our 2nd HD, a Road Glide Ultra. We travel as much as we can and it's not uncommon for us to jump on and do 200+ miles in a day! Planning a ride from SC to NH this summer again. And yes to packing light! We can pack for a week or more easily. Folks forget most hotels have laundry facilities. And who needs anything more than blue jeans and a tshirt!

I love watching you 4 well 5 ride. I agree with Theresa. I would love to ride to and across Canada. I drove there twice, but I would love to ride to Vancouver BC and then take the trains Canada to Toronto. I met this guy about three years ago who lives in Toronto and he said the best time to do that would be late July into August. Because anytime before then you will run into snow along the way. Road trips are the best. It's fun meeting people and visiting small towns that you had never heard of. Thanks and keep those videos coming. stay safe.

I've been riding for 23 years now. Went from street to trackdays to club racing. Now that we are trying to decide on what retirement will look like, I brought up long distance with my wife. She's interested, and this video helped my cause :-). Her big question, "how do they pack for long trips?" Going to need another one of your packing videos with your their input.
@2LaneLife
@2LaneLife 2 жыл бұрын
Good stuff!! Always fun exploring different aspects of riding. Long distance sure is a great time and a rad experience. We figured this video would help a few people out who are on the fence. We'll have to film how they pack at some point. We usually will split a suitcase and a saddlebag. Same concept, down to the basics, 1-2 pairs of pants, an extra layer or two, the shoes on your feet, toiletries etc. Ya learn what works, what fits, and what is/is not needed after a few trips 👍

When riding in Canada, research your routes diligently for road conditions. There’s a lot of potholes unless you stick to the main highways. Don’t get me wrong, some roads are excellent. But, most are trashed. I’m not sure where our gas taxes have been going, but it’s certainly not towards road upkeep as intended. Except Quebec. Their roads are immaculate. Expect delays and heavy traffic due to ongoing road repair (in Quebec/ spoiled province) on the TCH.

Great to hear the wife's perspective... Really great video... My wife stopped riding with me - scared her splitting lanes coming home from Street Vibrations...a few years back; rain and 35mph+ winds didn't help either... but now she follows me in the car, so I don't have to pack - nights out on the town in a car are not necessarily a bad thing... Josh does a great job!

My wife started riding with me when we started dating on a CB750K, then V65 Magna which scared her. She hated it. Then finally on a Goldwing. She's gone due to cancer as is the wing. Now I have a Yamaha Venture Royale, 1986 edition. In pieces of course for a total restore.

It's interesting to hear a woman's point of view! Yes as the driver you have to many things to keep into perspective. Safety is always number one. Tired is good. But you have to have a good time. Thanks for this video. I'm sharing with people I know! You must be talking about WYOMING with the wind! Worst place I've ever rode in it. Been in lots all over but... you ladies would love Sturgis. Get a cabin and it's just like home! I stay at Sacora Station Campgrounds $800 for 10 days of rally. It's in Piedmont exit 46. America Legion is great to eat a home cooked meal it's half Mike down road. $12 supper with cake and ice cream.
