I...actually understood Ming's reasom for ending it with Moowarn despite not (yet) liking the "other" person enough. I have this firm belief. If you're truly in love with someone, you won't fall for someone else. Ming ended up liking someone while dating her. And even though it was still just a "like" after evaluating his feelings for her, he knew he might just end up hurting her anyways. I respect that, to be honest. The fact that he didn't right away go for Kit after breaking up with her is also good in my book. At least he can really evaluate his feelings for him before hand.

I think the ‘baby’ part is because the word ‘phan/fan’ in Thai is gender neutral so it can be both bf and gf. It’s most commonly translated as ‘lover’ from what I’ve seen :)
