Hello Jane glad to see you're doing okay. My brother has high grade glioma. Not sure what grade he said he doesn't know. Diagnosed July 2023. He had radiotherapy, but no mention of an operation. He has just had his first five days chemo tablets.. He's always been so incredibly fit and done so much sport.. I just don't know if he is doing the right thing Having chemo,as what he has is incurable. will it just make him feel worse.. i don't know, no one does i suppose. I'm glad to see you fighting this . I have followed you from the beginning. I feel that if you weren't in New Zealand and I wasn't in the UK. I would love to have a cup of coffee with you and a chat.. all the best Jean. 🎉

Hi Jean. It’s likely that your brother being fit will help him tolerate the chemo better. My medical oncologist, who prescribes my monthly chemo pills, has said a few times - even after my latest inconclusive scan results - that the main thing she cares about is that I look healthy. That is her best indication of how I’m going. So I don’t feel as worried as you about him doing chemo. Of course I don’t know him, but I’m in the middle of it, and I’m still bouncing back after each round. I wish we could both sit down for a cuppa too! There are other ways to communicate internationally, and I’d be happy to explore those, but there really is still nothing as good as face to face connection. Thanks for watching my videos. You remind me that I am not just speaking into the void, as it so often feels. Take care Jean ❤️

Optune device to treat high grade brain cancer has been there for many years and also covered by insurance, you may google it and ask your oncologist for further info about it@@JaneWhiteheadBrainStory
