2nd Gen 4Runner - Off Road Compilation

We purchased our 1990 4Runner SR5 V6 Manual this time last year. We have put a lot of new parts and work into her over the course of the year all the while taking her on some pretty sweet adventures. So far she has travelled to the top of Merry Widow Mountain, Side Bay, San Josef Bay, Grant Bay, Lippy Point, Arden Creek, Bavis Creek river bed, Gordon River, Lake Cowichan, Holberg, Mount Arrowsmith, and everywhere in between. Even though she has over 415,000km on her and a few rust holes, she keeps on running and taking whatever we through at her. Looking forward to this next year of upgrades and adventures! Enjoy!

That's a nice looking $ runner. I just bought a 91 that I can't wait to get out on the road with once I make a few repairs. I did get a little pucker moment there when you slid backwards in the snow and from the angle it looked like you were getting a tad close to the edge. Good video though.

We sure did! I'm sure your 2WD could make it most places. Probably won't do too well in slushy snow but hard packed gravel shouldn't be a problem!

Haha thanks! So far we have still just been playing catch up on normal service schedule stuff. A few things we have added is a roof basket and some Bushwhacker flares with mudflaps. We do plan on getting her 235/85R16 tires when these KO2s wear out. Hope you have some sick adventures!

Only suspension mod was Rancho 9000xl adjustable shocks. Mainly all we have done is replaced old suspension components that were worn out.
