Fun fact: Kusaka is the reason Mihara/Delta isn't in Paradise Lost, and it's once again because of how fucked in the head he is with his insatiable lust for Mari. So even there, he manages to _earn_ his final form as sand (while in the movie proper he just gloats a lot until Psyga bodies him.) TL;DR they find a Riotrooper V2 who turns out to be the Rose Orphnoch and is using flowers to dust or convert a bunch of civilians. For SOME REASON, Kusaka decides to blame Mihara for trying to send these flowers to Mari even though the culprit is RIGHT THERE in front of the two. So while they're trying to escape, Kusaka turns around and throws Mihara to the Rose Orphnoch while he's kicking and screaming for his life, and inevitably turns to sand. So while the idiot's bragging about how he's the only Rider humanity needs, he's neglecting the fact that he murdered what they thought was the only other one on their side over a problem that _he_ made.
