On Saturday, May 4, the sidewalks of 22nd Street between 7th Avenue South and 9th Avenue South on the historic Deuces was transformed into a kaleidoscope of colorful squares. Hosted by Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project (PDAP) the event drew over 700 attendees, vendors, artists, and community stakeholders. The festival was supported by Creative Pinellas' Beyond Placemaking award to TB Chalk Festival organizer Debbie Yati Garrett. The grant was produced with the support of the National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Pinellas, the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, and the State of Florida.
