(2ND TRY!!) Does LOREAL COLORISTA SPRAY Work On Dark Hair (Does Hairspray Help?)

This is the FIRST 2nd-try I've done with a product in my "does it work on dark hair" video series! I thought it would be really interesting to see if hairspray helped to seal it in so it didn't rub off (a tip that showed up a few times in my first try video) and what other colors would look like on my hair. What do ya'lls think? Are you more likely to try it or less likely to try it after seeing it for the second time? Watch to find out what I think!!

Thank you for your reviews... earlier today I bought a blue and purple Loreal Colorista sprays, and being new to this, I pretty much followed the instructions and your advice! I have naturally dark brown hair with golden hints; and as I grow my hair to shoulder length from a two-decade running streak of buzz cuts I want a flair to my bangs to compliment my sunglasses... just one or two small strands of hair with accent. That said, the blue looks so nice! A few things I've noticed with this product is just how much it sprays out... it sprays a lot of dye in almost no time at all. It isn't spreadable, so practice is a must for a good set of coloured bangs... although I will admit I don't own a brush; just a comb, I should consider investing in to a brush. I do agree with the chalky feeling; but it isn't something I'm going to worry about. It does transfer a bit, so I need to watch out when wearing light-coloured shirts and avoid contact. Given that it acts identically as a can of spray paint, there is some spatter... I understand the reasoning for a towel over the shoulders, even though my hair doesn't reach my shoulders yet... I noticed a few droplettes on my left shoulder. Thankfully it washes off the skin really easily with a bit of water and paper towel.

I tried the purple a couple weeks ago. I absolutely hated it. It made my hair so crispy and the color came of at every touch even after being in there for a day.

Hey! So I saw this product called Bumble and Bumble color hair stick. It looks like hair chalk without the fall out and transferring. I'm not too sure what it is and from what I'm seeing it's very visible on dark hair! I think you should do a review on it!! Saw it online at Sephora.

not sure if you have tried it, but there is a temporary hair color spray that works really well. Very small amount, but color does last strong, called Joico.

the pink stained my hair for over 2 weeks but i loved it i also left it in fir a day without brushing then washed it out and it stayed in the tried it again and washed it out within 2 hours and it stayed in

it will definitely get on your clothes a bit, i wouldn't wear white! it makes your hair suuuper tangly cause it's chalky feeling when it sprays on so i would style my hair first and not try and brush it or touch it all day!

Theresa Huaroto I agree, definitely style your hair first. I did a high pony and curled the ends(if that makes sense) and then sprayed the color. As far as the "washes out on 1 shampoo" claim, more like a couple shampoos and a nice deep condition. After I shampooed it, it left my hair feeling super dry after it dried.

Please try Overtone it’s like a conditioner that will color your hair but I don’t know if it works on dark hair but I want to try it out. If you try it out can you test the pink or purple and try the extreme kind

They might look better on light hair, but there's actually colors and I guess sprays that you're not supposed to put on light hair(bleached or natural) because it's formulated for dark hair and would be too much for lighter hair.

you could use "hair make-up" like GoodDyeYoung's Poser Paste (which isn't a spray, more like a gel consistency. You can only get it online though)
