No girl group sounds like this anymore, and it's sad. Losing 2NE1 took a bigger hit on me as a fan of kpop for more than 15 years. They, along with Bigbang were one of those groups that forced everyone else to be competitive musically. It was all good while it lasted. Just came back here to reminisce.

Can everyone who doesn't know the story about Bom listen to me for a second because the comments are breaking my heart. Bom has a terrible lymph nodes condition that causes her face to swell and become sore from time to time. She has had surgery before but that was for the veins in her face. The swelling had gotten so bad that it was cutting off the blood circulation in her throat and nose. If you look at her pre debut photos you will see that she looked pretty similar to how she does now. Bom is a wonderful woman and she doesn't deserve to be hated In any way. If you knew better you would love her the way true blackjacks do.

*Blackjacks*! Our fellow blackjack Loreign has passed away today, she was A really big fan of Dara's and 2ne1. I never knew Loreign personally but the fact that she was a fellow blackjack really made me realized how I love this fandom and 2ne1. On the letter they wrote dara on twitter it said that Loreign watched the MAMA awards and how proud she was of Dara because she sang beautifully. I've been watching Bom in roommate and her face looks completely fine. people totally exaggerate the amount of PS she has had. she has had ps. but probably not as much as you people accuse her of. She still looks freakin gorgeous to me. Lymph nodes is a disease that causes your face and neck to swell up. you guys when in one comeback she looks completely fine and has outstanding performances but then in another comeback her face is abnormally swollen and she can't sing well live. Kpop nowadays honestly has lost its own voice, making themselves all about visual, they cant even make sad songs that would hit us hard, relate our daily lives and make us cry together as we listening to the song. We are way past the great era guys. Its sad but good things go fast.

I don’t think so, most kpop groups in 4th gen are more about dancing and performance, they don’t have freedom to create the music they want. I definitely love 2nd gen music but maybe 1st gen fans said the same about 2nd gen, it is maybe not made for you. After all it’s called a kpop ‘ gen’ meaning that younger people are more likely to enjoy it. I would say each kpop gen has a good and a bad side .

This MV is a great example of why people who say that Bom can't even make facial expressions make me so angry. Look at that girl's face. There is more real, raw emotion there than I see walking down the street every day. It's just that her facial expressions are not overacted like the majority of expressions you see in k-pop, they're subtle. Bom is very expressive and it's breathtaking. The people who say she can't make facial expressions anymore must be blind to what human emotion looks like. Life is not a variety show, not everyone overacts their emotions constantly.

I would still at least once like to see her to just sing her heart out in a mv like she would in a live performance, instead of just slightly opening her mouth. I'm not even sure if this is how she shows sad emotions or if it's the director's preference for her to not really move. Not that the other members move that much either but at least they open their mouths more when singing their parts.
