I was introduced to kpop after they disbanded and I was watching them last year and I was like when r they having their next comeback then I realised they disbanded and I was so upset. I came back to watch that mv which led me to this worrying how blackpink’s future will be like, I hope they don’t get the same treatment as 2ne1, 2ne1 deserved the world and yg ruined them. When I watched this I really felt u girl. Ik this was 3 years ago but still I will never get over their disbandment. That was YG’s biggest mistake ever.

now knowing this was a song CL wrote for Minzy after her leaving makes more sense and that much more sad. She says "you know that spring (Korean word bom) will return when winter passes" This was metaphorical because springs comes after winter. I think she was referring to how they were planning on coming back this year after winter when Bom returns from her hiatus. This was definitely a play on words to disguise the true meaning of what's going on internally between the company and the members. There's also a line where she says Don't be fooled, don't give into the temptations. I think she was referring to when her contract ended she was testing the free agency to see who could offer the best opportunities, and CL is telling her they're just feeding you lies to leave YG to come to their agency. Anyways this is just my observation but I thought the lyrics made more sense after CL mentioned that this was originally a song for Minzy.

I didn't know all of this until I saw your reaction 😭 I listened 2NE1 back in 2011. At that time I was addicted in Kpop and for two years I listened many groups. Then I left that world (except for SNSD). But now it's some weeks that I restarted to listen Kpop.
