I also get triggered whenever I see or hear the word "2NE1". Since Minzy's departure, I stay away from anything 2NE1, because they're my ultimate group, it just hurts so much. When Bom sings "does anyone know how it makes me feel?" I got chills. I mean, knetziens were and still are so cruel to her, they forget she's a human being. I can't imagine how much she suffered and I'm so glad that she herself told us she's ok. Bom is such a strong woman, I don't know if I could deal with that much hate. I hope she doesn't quit singing cause I love her voice. The way YG handled her scandal, let everyone bash her and didn't protect her at all. Instead of putting her out to speak about what happened and remind SK of her qualities and what they loved about her, they made her hide all this time and the hate didn't fade away. YGE blaming her for the disbandment is something i'll never forget. How can a company treat one of it's artists that way? and I mean Park Bom was not just a YG Idol, she had one of the best selling songs all time (You and I), she helped YGE be what it is. I think the reason why people are attacking her back is because she talks as if she had no idea that this song was going to be released. People have known that this song has been coming for a while now; meaning that she should have known as well. Perhaps her new label is not allowing her to participate with this song. Sorry to tell you this but first of all, Daesung accident cant be compared with Park Bom incident, totally different thing. YG did not hide Daesung incident for years ( he did hide PB incident that why it was Big). Daesung went to public court, and even heped with the investigation. YG did not move a finger with daesung incdent , he did not wrote a letter like he did for park bom, or an inverview with prosecutor. Daesung went in to hiatus, and the only reason he could came back as GD was because the award they won, and most korean forgave them, also help that they are not loved not only by fans but genral public, wish is not the case of 2ne1

YG did not speak for Daesung because Daesung's case was ongoing and also didn't involve YG himself. I have no doubt that YG used his connections to SK government to bury Bom's case and it came back out around the time of the Sewol tragedy because those same connects needed a favor. YG only spoke for Bom to draw attention away from his own involvement and because he was surprised how angry people were. There have been several actresses and singers who have had major scandals and come back (Baek Jiyoung, Jay Park, GD) and made money. What makes people forget flaws are success and YG was already done with a 30 year old singer in poor health when he had eager young trainees to pimp, I mean, promote.

The Media that reveled Bom case, did not get a thing because they posted what exactly was in the archive of the case., and there was no rule they could not revele a the case in particular to the public. YG even tested the waters , every single time Bom was seen in YG, or a YG event or the last MAMA, all of this was YG trying to see public reaction and was not good at all. And as much as I love Bom, I know she does have her issue, a lot of fans dont want to mention her PS, but sure there something going on there, and basically like you said no one can tell her what to do, because she is already 30. People can blame YG all they want ( I blame him for a lot of things as well), but this case was huge, and is not comparable with GD and Daesung that were addresed the same moment and known by the public, and there was nothing YG could do to prevent Park Bom hiatus.

Again, success is how you make people forgive you. If it took Bigbang winning an award to get them to be able to promote with Daesung then YG could have easily tried to get a massive single out for 2ne1. Also, how would the media know about a 4 year old drug case without someone tipping them off? There are literally MILLIONS of public records but you have to know what you are looking for. Bom is grown and I wonder if she would have preferred to address the drug scandal right away or if YG made the ultimate decision to hide the case because the timing is bad. But at the end of the day, YG releasing a picture or having the girls do one performance is a lame attempt at trying to rehab an image. If it were me, I would have addressed the case immediately and made it part of a show where Bom and trained doctors educate the public about PTSD and depression. This would have been done in conjuction with a great song so that people can begin to forgive her. Suppression never works.

About Minzy,... she have all the right to leave the group, and she have his reason, she wante to be a solo, ot she wanted more activites. But first of all hat I find a little funny is that since she left YG she said she was relesing a solo album, but till this day does not happen. Insted she is going to be ina variety show, thing the have said in the past 7 years she hated the most of being an idols. Other thing when she left the group she avoided to mention YG, BLACKJACKS and even BOM DARA AND CL, even to thank them. I'm going to be very honest with you. The only ones on fault with Bom scandal are no others that K-nets. I read a lot of comments people comparing the situation she was in with GD and Daesung scandals, but they dont remember the facts. YG did NOTHING for GD and for Daesung. In GD case YG only relesed an staement on what GD said (his excuse), that it. And he went true investigation and hiatus. In Daesung case YG only said he was SORRY for daseusng becausw was an accidnt and updated in how he was doing THATS IT. Bouth went true investigation and hiatus. If you compared it to Park Bom YG did well hiding it for so many years ( remember it happen in 2010 ), and when it blow out YG did not make a formal statement , instead he try to make her more human, and wrote open letter explaning what happen, dispatch interviewd the prosecutor in favor of park Bom ( sure YG make it happen), and did not worked, K-nets sti.l hated on her. And the 3 ( GD, Daesung and Bom ) went in to hiatus. BIGBANG returned THANKS to VIPs and some other kpop fans that make them win the MTV EMA, that make a lot of koreans forgive them and they took advantage of it and returned.. that did not happen to 2NE1, and YG did try to comeback, MAMA 2 years a go, but went all wrong! and it bring more hare for Bom. People need some facts before comparing

Don't forget YG putting Big Bang on Healing Camp did wonders. They GD and Daesung were able to explain themselves and get public sympathy. Honestly, that one tv appearance helped the group so much and Bom/2ne1 should have had a similar opportunity. (I could write an essay about how dirty YG did 2ne1 compared to BB but that's for another time smh). I'm not saying netizens aren't responsible for the scandal blowing up, but if YG truly wanted 2ne1 to comeback, he would have made it happened. Also, when people compare Bom's scandal to GD and Dae's scandals, they're usually referring to the different treatments during the hiatuses. Examples: *Daesung admitted that YG brought him back before he was ready Bom admits she wants to come back but YG refuses. *GD gets in a drug scandal and BB manages to come back. Maybe that's why they didn't ask for her to be in the video because it was a song for her. If you pay attention to the lyrics and keep in mind that this is for Minzy "Goodbye until we meet again". As much as I understand the situation with Minzy, I can't agree one hundred percent and put the blame solely on YG. Things don't happen by you just sitting and waiting, and that applies to everyone. Even non-celebrities. CL put in work to get her solo, it wasn't just given to her. She was the one who decided that she was going to build connections and make herself a place outside of 2NE1, especially in the fashion world. She didn't need YG's permission to do that, she just did it. Before Bom's issue she was also doing the same. Dara also showed initiative with wanting to broaden her horizons with acting and hosting, and she got herself the projects she has now because of that. Minzy was in one of the biggest companies in Korea and had she truly wanted to do something for herself she could have at any time. Obviously unless YG gave her the green-light she couldn't have a solo but until then she could've done what CL did while she waited and built her own connections or gone up to YG and say "look this is what I'm working on and this is what I want to happen". It's easy to sit here and pass blame when we don't truly know anything, but it's not fair to look at things in such a one-sided manner. Yes the blame can be all YG but you guys said it yourself, while the other members were growing and developing, Minzy was just sitting there thinking when is it gonna be my turn and if that's the conclusion your mind comes to when thinking about the situation, well then Minzy didn't exactly have the ambition needed to get what she wanted done. I'm sure her envious ass mother had something to do with her departure too. And I have to say, I kind of agree with those fans. I understand what you're saying but what do you expect? As if her company was going to be okay with her doing that and even then, she knew they supposedly had a comeback planned for the summer and she decided to leave anyways, so logic would be that remaining three members would be the one making a song, even if it's the last one. CL wrote the song for Minji. She expressed her feelings about the break up and advice to Minji. YG had a thing for CL. Now CL , Minji, and Sundara all have kept careers going. I think all international fans here dont understand how Big Bom scandal was/is. The moment it happen I knew there was no turning back, only if some miracle happened. Bom already had a lot of haters, and the scandal just make it worse, sorry to say this but there was nothing YG could do to help in this situation. There no comparition with GD case, wish was weed, and was not hide from the public for many years, that for me make it worse. And Daesung case that was clearly an accident, in either of this cases YG did much, all were fans work, helped the fact that Bigbang was alredy huge in Korea. Korean sociaty are harsher with women scandals, and is not something from YG, a company dont like to lose money for sure. There was no way YG could keep promoting 2ne1 as nothing, because they could have find the way to ban Bom from TV any way. Also when people said that Park Bom is find that she does not have anything, and that she said so, most of the peopl that commit suicide said the same. She was having issues, then why would he be going to he psychiatrist ?. And as much as I love Park Bom and her voice and loly personality, w cand denied her issues with PS. Honestly, I do have to say it is Bom's fault unfortunately. She had a drug scandal. There's no coming back from that in Korea. ESPECIALLY if you are a female idol. Look at AOA. Yes, they won on a music show a few days ago, but their controversy was ridiculous... they had to get on their hands and knees and beg for forgiveness for not knowing a little bit of Korean history & netizens still are on their backs. Tiffany just RECENTLY started posting things on Instagram since the whole Japan controversy. I don't get why everyone is failing to realize the only reason she spoke out was because YG said she wasn't available for the song.....as if he contacted her like he did Bom. He did not, and she exposed him. That's it. Minzy didn't have to say goodbye to the members, her and CL's bday messages to each other in 2015 were hinting at farewells, the girls already knew she was leaving they just kept quiet about it til contract season. And obviously since CL & Dara indirected her this year about her birthday they're still close. She's in a new company with a new contract and new rules to follow, and YG has been trying (and failing) to keep the girls from saying anything about the issue either until now since everyone seems to be spilling tea I guess. Honestly, my thought is kind of similar with yours in a way. I fully understand why minzy left the company and personally, if I was as ambitious as her, I would've done the same. Its not wrong for her to make a move for the sake of her own future career, everyone does it, like CL with her decision to sign with SB, there's nothing wrong with that, seeing that sticking with YG isn't gonna do anything to your own career. But at the same time, it bothers me that minzy didn't say anything that related about the girls after the news that she left, it bothers me when she didn't say a thing during 2ne1 debut anniversary, not long after the news of her leaving came out--- all i'm saying is, im not judging minzy by that matter alone, but it wouldn't hurt her image to say something about the group or the girls at that time, isn't it? If anything, she would gain more sympathy and support for her own solo too, right? Like, why? Also for this song, i think its understandable if you think of it in the girls' side/point of view. CL herself said in her recent interview that she wrote this after minzy left. The song was meant to be a letter for minzy, from all the songs that they prepared for their return as 3, sadly they only got to record this one song. From what I see, I can see that minzy seems to misunderstand the whole thing too ? She most probably had no idea that the song turned out to be a letter that is meant for her, not only for the fans. I wonder how she feels now that once she find out that the song was a letter for her too. I'm not hating on her in anyway, there are probably more into this behind the scene as well, but its pretty clear for me that she seems to feel upset that YG didn't let her know about the song, assuming that the song itself is solely for a farewell song for the fans from 2ne1, the group that she basically sacrificed her youth on, if thats the case, of course she deserves to be in that song as well, but one thing that she probably wasn't aware of is the fact that CL wrote this after minzy leaving, and that this letter was meant for her. It was partly YG's fault that they didn't give that information on the announcement in the first place, and i hope by this point, they got to fix things out.

All of YG's statements don't add up. People are tweeting Bom asking her if she's sick and she said no. Fans asked her if she wants to sing and she said yes! Even her lyric in the song says not to believe the stories. YGE is the most self sabotaging company I've ever seen. They build their artists all the way up only to knock them down. I think they've been working on Minzy's solo, i remembered DoublePark TV on one episode (search DoublePark TV press conference) Minzy herself asked them that she recorded her solo but when will it be released? Something like that. But we don't know why it wasn't released. We can't judge YG why he didn't let Minzy have her solo. We all know how YG so strict when it comes to releasing a song. For Park Bom, the scandal was handled well and she was free of charges. But how come she didn't recover from the issue?? Its because of the netizens. Among all the chaos she's thankful to YG, she even showed her diary on how she wanted to be like YG, she looked up to him as her role model. So i don't think YG was blaming her for their disbandment. CL even said they're making things work out even when she's at US for 2ne1's comeback but it just..didn't work out. So i don't know what to think anymore T^T i don't wanna make assumptions anymore because it just make me sad ;( but i know our Queens are way more sad than us *sigh still gonna support them all the way! :((

I personally do not like how the situation unfolded and what it has succumbed to, but i genuinely think that none of us are in the rightful position to put blame on anybody, be it YG himself, Minzy, the way the agency is run, the culture of the industry, because, we honestly are not in any of their shoes and we will never know the full story. Bom's diary entry posts on her positive feelings towards yg, yg's countless statements, all the instagram posts with each member, all these are pieces of information for us to hold on to and interpret, but i dont think we have the right to say that from those, such and such has happened or such and such should have been done. I would like to believe YG himself is as or even more affected then any of us as these are artistes whom he has groomed and taken care of for countless of years. Perhaps what he has put out to the public isnt to our "satisfaction" or what some "needs to hear" but he's done what he felt needed to be done and we cant say he should have done more or could have cus we will never know what truly went down and what theyre entitled to do. I love you guys, and i love 2ne1, been a fan since day 1 and it breaks my heart just as much to see them apart. I hate when people confuse business partners and business decisions with friendships and personal issues. Minzy left for business reasons. Her leaving doesn't reflect on how she feels about the other members or even Papa YG as a person, just his business actions and management skills. Fans get so caught up in their feelings and perceptions. It's annoying honestly. Minzy did what she had to do to further her career not to 'abandon' her friends. Same with Papa YG, he did what he felt like he needed to do. It's messy (much like most of what YG does... I honestly don't understand why you expect something different when he can't even released albums on time) and not handled with the most grace and that's what truly bothers me off. I don't mind that he did it (with their long hiatus and Bom's rep it was bound to happen... there where clear signs) but the way he did it and his poor decision making is just crazy! If I was under his employ I would leave after this mess. I don't know if Papa YG is losing his touch or if he just never had it in the first place... YG Entertainment did not fight for 2NE1 enough. They should have taken the people who brought up the scandal to court, or seek some kind of retribution for 2NE1, especially after the scandal was proven to be untrue. An entertainers image is everything, it can make or break them. That is not something you take likely. Many idols had controversies, EVEN in YG, and didn't they keep going? That's what you have to do for it to blow over. Let them keep working hard and making good music and people will soon forget about it. That's what you're supposed to do as their company. Nothing but truth spoken in this video!! What I find odd is people almost trying to defend YG. It's pretty obvious that he sucks when it comes to taking care of his artists. The way he handled the situation was fucked up from the very beginning!!! Do people honestly think that Bom wanted to be on a hiatus for that long?!
