A single female is seen as innocent and more appealing, whereas the standards for men in the industry we see that female fans feelings will change to that of “ oh he’s such a great husband and father , etc “. For male fans they often lose interest in the women aka they get butthurt. The same applies for sexy photoshoots. The industry that made Hyuna into a sex symbol was the same one to call her a slut every other week. Whereas the “sex symbol “ man in kpop was seen as sexy, Handsome ( male point of view )and someone to look up to and achieve because he gets all the girls ( male’s point of view “ .
