***** Bom actually went to school here in the States. It was a private school in the north east I think. So since living in an English speaking country, I think her English would be the best. CL traveled a lot to Japan and France so she knows three different languages other than Korean.

I like how CL doesn't chose one member to be the most stylish. You can see in other groups it causes so much drama when one person is labeled as the most attractive or best at this or that even if no one says it. Plus MCs are always stirring up drama and asking who's prettier etc lol. It's nice to see a group that says no, we're all cool in our different styles because they really are! :)

CL is natural born leader. Speaks well, with intelligence and is very PR-savvy in handling with some of the more probing questions. She's definitely the type of person you would want to seat on the head table dealing with the media in press conferences. Bom's a little bit off in this session, but just wait until she sings...man, I love her booming, "natural echo" voice.

Even though she mostly fluent in English I think the language barrier was still in play here. Some jokes and the feel of them don't translate over well when you have two different cultures in the mix. I don't think she was being rude I just think she was a bit confused and a bit trying to be cool and it didn't read well.

No one payed attention to her back then, i say 2NE1 helped her to improve her skills and to get to where she is right now... Shes definitely going to have a solo album soon, I hope the songs are better than The Baddest Female and MTBD (hope they learned something from it since TBF wasnt a hit )

for2itous dr1fter ah thanks that explains a lot, and yeah i know her solo stuff. I also remember years ago before 2ne1 that CL and mimzy were a group. They didn't do too popular back then. I agree 2ne1 has helped her evolve as an artist, but like it just seems she is the leader of the group. Good example would be Beyonce back when she was in destiny's child. They were popular, but once Beyonce left she just exploded in popularity and she is known world-wide and loved by many. Also i said for her to come to the United States. I'm sure her style would be more popular here since Hip-Hop/Pop seem to be the most popular forms of music right now here. She could make songs with like iggy azalea, nicki minaj, ariana grande, miley, and hip hop guys like juicy J, big sean, and some others who tend to collab with female artist.

I don't know why some 2NE1 fans are mad at the interviewer. Do you really expect that he's always super prepared and can't get nervous or awkward? I don't think he had many interviews with Korean stars in his life. So, the interview was okay. I mean the girls themselves were quite nervous too so no surprise that some moments were a bit awkward. CL wasn't really mean that's true but I have that bad feeling that some fans here would say "Uh, he/she's so mean!" if it wasn't 2NE1 or any other group/singer they like. Imagine Harry from One Direction reacting like CL if he was getting an interview by a Korean guy. If the Korean host would ask if he could join 1D and Harry would say no, I already see the shit comments about him being an ass (and no, I'm not a 1D fan). I'm not surprised that CL talked the most and the others just nodded or said one short answer since CL's the leader and the one who can talk in English the best. Imagine if a Western group went to Korea and just one of them can talk Korean fluently. The other members would also be quiet for the most of the time, nod or just know some few words like "Thank you", "Hello" and "Good bye" in Korean.
