@@TheProxy2 I've been into k-pop for only one year but when I heard people talking about gen things then I started old k-pop songs merathon (iconic old songs) and realised there were lots of better group and scenarios were also different, no fanwars and all, no immature fans, no comparison on views, I really wish I was born early. I really like old k-pop songs, they have such a different vibe, few of my fav are Tvxq, SHINee, Miss A, Bigbang, 4minute, BLOCKB I don't stan the groups mentioned above but their old songs are so good so I just listen to them a lot

They weren't disbanded, one member left. If you notice, no kpop group has ever re-signed the contract. Once the contract of five, six, seven years is over, someone always leaves: they either want to try different things, want to date and have relationships, want to do different things or just want to take a break (and who could blame them?) I guess we'll have to get used to the idea that these groups last as much as their contracts, and I see why. They work extremely hard for many years. When the contract is over, they have a lot of money, fame and freedom to either go to university, try to get a solo career, or even marry and have kids. Maybe just take a sabbatical to see what they do with their lives. I guess they could try to re-launch the group without some members, but for some reason, it isn't done.

At the beginning, their contracts were forever, which some people thought abusive, so the contracts once they debut can last now up to a maximum of seven years. After the seven years they could continue, but normally some members go: some want a rest, some may want solo careers, or something different, or just date and marry without journalists meddling. As a result, save for Girl's Generation with a few members who left, no group has continued. There's always someone who goes. The others are working solo. They are probably taking it easy.
