The reason for the original sound better is: - Mastered for vinyl (The bass cannot be too low, otherwise the needle would slip out of the grove) - Mastered for listening at home. The digital versions are remastered to be listened on the go, on your iPod/iPhone, where the sound has not got to be as detailled.

Great video. The original pressing of this does indeed sound much better, as do The Chronic and Doggystyle original pressings. Better and more dynamic high's and mids, and less bass. The remasters are somewhat "louder" but not at all BETTER That being said.... The Makaveli remaster though, does sound better than the original pressing in my opinion - that album was not originally mastered as well for whatever reason as previous Death Row albums were. Probably because Pac had just died and the demand for this album was super high so they wanted to release it as fast as possible. That was the only Death Row album that should have ever been digitally remastered. Honestly, even the remastered version doesn't go far enough, but its an improvement over the original 1996 pressing for sure.

FireIceTalon Thanks for watching, yeah that's what I noticed with the originals compared to the remastered. I also do have the original makaveli 7 day theory album, one thing I noticed compared to the remastered was the songs sounded louder maybe it's just me I would probably have to listen to it carefully side by side to notice the differences but would be hard to tell as they are quite similar in sound as you said.

You are so right especially the doggystyle remaster. They totally destroyed the dynamics of that one and it sounds worse than the chronic remaster for sure. The above the rim remaster doesn't sound bad at all to my ears though, I would say its the best sounding remaster from deathrow

I have the remaster CD and to me it doesn't sound as bad as the chronic or doggystyle remaster. Its acceptable to me . the murder was the case soundtrack remaster sounds bad to

I think the doggystyle remaster cd sounds the worst out of all the remasters. They cranked the bass way too high it doesn't sound natural, it's distorted as hell. The chronic remaster sounds bad too but not as bad as ds... All eyez on me Rm doesn't sound as bad as tc or ds

It’s lazy that they kept the “2 Compact Disc Pac” promo on the remastered vinyl pressing. Wonder why they couldn’t just reissue the original?

Please help me out ? To my knowledge, 1996 has FOUR discs 2001 has TWO discs 2022 has FOUR discs. Is that correct ?? Thank you in advanced

@@user-jg6vu9js7k When it comes to the records variations for all eyez on me it goes as follows, to the best of my understanding. The 2001 has three discs/ records but may differ depending on the region. The record labels are multi coloured on this one. so the digitally remastered one comes with 4 discs/ records. The label has a picture of 2pac on it. The 2022 remaster one has four discs/records. The original one has 4 discs/ records with the death row logo on it. Hope this helps

Hey the original is just as good, the reason I noticed the difference between them was because I listened to them side by side of you have never heard the original the remaster is just fine if you wanna say some money👍 hope this helps.

West Tech Gamer Thanks for the response! Really helpful might just get the reissue now and then save up for the original. Im curious to know what else are willing to add to your collection. Im a huge 2pac fan and want to add his music to my vinyl collection. Dont know where to start but Me Against the World is even more more to come by (since they havent reissued it yet). Perhaps I will start from the cheapest to most expensive in that particular order.

That’s my recommendation I bought all of the reissued vinyl records then I moved on to the originals and I would only buy them if I got good deals on them. I would definitely not pay the high prices try if you can avoid it. From a person who has collected both I would get the reissued first and enjoy them and if your really really wanting the originals then only buy them only if their is a good deal👍 but tbh you will only noticed the difference if you have heard the original if you have not then you will be more than happy with the reissued vinyl records.

West Tech Gamer Oh wow thats actually a good idea! Buying the reissued records first to start and then cherry picking to see which originals are worth the heavy price. Such a good idea. Interesting perspective in terms of the difference in listening from the original. Either way it would be nice to have either or. Thank you for the advice there.
