My favorite Tupac album. This is before he had beef with anybody. He was giving you a picture of the streets and the world at that time

He had beef with the government, crooked cops, politicians, street mfs (BDs in Chicago, etc. movie producers. Pac had a lot of mfs bringing hate & drama his way)… that’s why he used that Dr. Dre sample on this song, “Tonight’s the night, I get in some shit!” I remember seeing Pac on MTV News all the time, for getting pulled into some drama & getting arrested. My dude got around & was a superstar early in the game, who spoke the raw truth, and that brought hella static his way, which he didn’t give a fuck about, for the most part. 💯 #YouWokeUpThe2PacSpirits He had plenty of beef, it just wasn’t with rappers at the time that he made this album. And to be 100%, Pac always said this wasn’t the album he intended on making. The album he wanted to make was way harder. Interscope slapped ‘Me Against the World’ together, without PAC’s final approval. That’s why this album in filled with more introspective songs, rather than his more revolutionary content, and they did that on purpose. I remember reading somewhere that they even had him wearing glasses during the MATW photo shoots, to soften up his image.
