@@MrTmills32 you’re just chattin… when that album dropped it had the streets on lock from the west to the east. @@MrTmills32 you were chattin and I called you out. Your intentions were to make it seem as though the album wasn’t a classic and it was only relevant cause he died and that’s not true. You’re also backtracking cause I called you out. I also made plenty points mainly how that album had the streets on fire and I gave examples of how the music was being consumed and how it had the streets in a frenzy right before the album dropped. I also pointed out the fact that this was way out in NYC even though there was a supposed “East Vs West”. Despite that he was on fire in NYC cause of the music. Did his death add to record sales sure… but the music was hot regardless. Main point is the album is a classic because it’s fire not just because he died like you initially suggested.

I could take Daz comments either way. Initially, it sounds like he was saying they weren’t jealous because they were contributors to All Eyez On Me the argument being why would they do that if they were jealous. But where I think his comments went left is when he said Tupac couldn’t move around like they could. Why make that comment? I think at least in Daz case, it’s a bit of both in that he did have some love for Pac but was also a bit jealous because of the attention he got. Suge also made them give Tupac those songs so they weren’t exactly willing contributors.

People are thinking success in the 90s was as easy as it is today with streaming, YT, instagram & TikTok. IT WASN'T! You couldn't listen to music whenever you want for free in the 90s. You had to BUY it! So these fools thinking people would have spent their hard earned cash on Pac singing over rubbish beats are insane. We had to make choices. Record stores were full of great artists in the 90s and we spent our money wisely. The beats had to be good. Not like some of the whack slow drill music of today which all sounds the same. Pac knew this so he had no choice but to team up with Deathrow's Snoop, Dre & Dillinger.

Daz got lots of jokes. 😂 Seriously though, Daz *DIDN'T* produce any of the *3 songs* that Pac was on for the Above the Rim soundtrack, which was released through Deathrow & Interscope and that was *BEFORE* Pac signed to Deathrow. The soundtrack went on to go double platinum, thanks in large part to 2Pac, who was the biggest name associated with Above the Rim and again, contributed 3 songs to the soundtrack. Clearly Pac was "made" before doing any songs with Daz.

I feel being humble and all..but I don't think Daryl Harper should sell himself short saying he's not even a little bit as good of the other known producers. All the beats he did for Pac were fire. He's got a few joints better than Daz and Dre stuff. Quik's my favorite producer..and I can say Daryl gave Pac beats on tier with him. Dre, Daz, and Quik are way more notorious than Daryl, based on timing and connects. Their talents aren't leagues above his.

Notice how Daryl Harper blurted out Warryn Campbell's name. Warryn Cambell doesnt have any credits listed on All Eyez on Me. So how tf did he know about Campbell's involvement???? Because he was there. Also, Warryn Campbell is Quik's ghost producer, since 1994. Im shocked Daryl didnt say Priest, Daz's ghost producer. Oppps, he mentioned him right here 15:33 bahahahahahahahaha. Fake producer Daz didnt make Pac. Me Against The World was double platinum when Dogg Food was barely double platinum. Snoop, Daz, etc needed Pac. Because Snoop never sold more more than 2 million after Doggystyle. Daz has one gold solo project. pac was on that bs. The rest of Daz's 30+ albums went wood.

Death Row just happened to fit Pacs whole outlook, mindset & even aesthetic coming out of Prison. Not to take anything away from Snoop & Doggy style But Jesus Christ is this really a conversation??? Pacs name alone is a WHOLE INDUSTRY of podcast. If You got a Pac story, you can start or get on a podcast. Ain't no mfer dead or alive touching Tupac Shakur...PERIOD.

Daz produced 5 songs in All Eyez On Me, isn't that album 27 tracks long? did any of the Dogg Pound, Snoop, dre, or D.O.C write tupac's rhymes? Did 2pac take more than 2 weeks of their time to finish the album? that double CD was ready to come out by December of 1995. They said Lady of Rage album recording was stopped because of Tupac, sure but it only took him 2 weeks to record, so what's their excuse?

Salute to the Bomb1st fam, John, and Reggie. I disagree with Suge in regards to him saying that Snoop, Dre, and Tha Dogg Pound was jealous of 2Pac's success. A lot of mess got created due to miscommunication, ego, and disrespect. I also disagree with Daz saying that him, Snoop, Dre, and those over at Death Row (at that time) made 2Pac. 2Pac was place his stamp on the game when he became the first artist to have a number one album (MATW, 1995) while in prison. That was prior to that Death Row deal. 2Pac took Death Row to the next level and vice versa. Let's keep it 💯, Johnny J had the most production on All Eyez On Me including Pac's first number one single "How Do U Want It" and some of that work was co-produced by 2Pac. 2Pac was involved in the creative process, more than some may think. This is exactly why 2Pac got co-producer credit on All Eyez On Me. All of those albums was his baby. As 2Pac career went on, 2Pac got more involved in the creative process of the recording of those albums/songs. 2Pac should've been credited as co-producer on some of those albums prior to AEOM and on The 7 Day Theory album. You don't have to play or make beats to be a producer. It's dope that you do but, it's not a requirement. 2Pac was well deserved that co-producer credit for AEOM. He did work also.🤷🏿‍♂️

Back in 1992, 93, 94 and 95 Death Row was a major label known worldwide thanks to Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate dog and The Dogg Pound before the coming of Tupac. Suge got him out of prison and signed a contract but Tupac came with his problems that he had in New York and the Quad studio and that's what brought down Death Row. That is the truth !!! 💯

God made Tupac Amaru Shakur and there will never be another. You cant make a man in 6 to 8 months on Deathrow and almost 30 years after he transitioned he is still being talked about.
