Today's generation don't listen to music as an artform of expression and but rather listen to it as an association with a culture, with 90s artists gave respect and homage to the previous generation by incorporating their music with the previous generations and used that to inspire them because what it meant to them when they were growing up, even Michael Jackson was inspired by James brown, look at the dance moves, some of the best 90s music and even today's music is from samples of the generations before them, even Dr Dre sampled classics from the previous generation and Kanye West sampled classics from the previous generation, one of Biggies best songs Big Poppa was sampled from a previous generation classic and Tupacs, hit em up, and that music would end up being classics for the current generation of that time, and it's their own interpretation fused into how they feel music at the current time. Today's generation listen to music to be associated to a certain culture, theres no movement in that culture, theres no message in todays music and no interpretation from the artist on the music they were inspired from as to how their generation feels music. So if you debating from the newer generation then please tell me what songs are going to end up being classics in the future, because even though I was born in the 80s, I can name you classics from the 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s and 50s that even 80s will tell you as far back as the 50s that was good music, there was always an element of something, if I listen to James brown, soul, Frank Sinatra amazing, the Beatles movement, etc. What do yall got.

Yes & because she sung the hook on ‘Wonder Why They Call U B*tch’ on that All Eyez On Me album that was coming out that this interview was for - and then months later, Hit Em Up supposedly would be recorded in May ‘96 & then came out the next month June 4th as the B-side to the single ‘How Do U Want It,’ & supposedly it’s her vocals singing the “get/take money” on Hit Em Up//that was sampled, but Idk about that ha

@Philip Pham Pac actually said himself, he was inspired by Chuck D (Public Enemy) in the Vibe Tupac book, he says it. Shock G. also, said it. As far as his content, there's a video of him rappin' at 17 yrs old, and he had that content already. Look it up. He was mostly inspired by Chuck D. Not, saying he wasn't influenced by Ice Cube & the Lench Mob, too (not Cube with NWA), he shouts out Ice Cube's Lynch Mob at the end of "Words of Wisdom" on his 2pacalpyseNow album. Shock G. said, Pac only care about impressing Chuck D. And, how when Digital Underground was on tour with Public Enemy Pac would always rap more to the backstage, so Chuck could hear him. At one of those shows Chuck gave him his props, and that's when he knew he was official.

Paul Day nooooo loooool 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I’m a big pac fan but I’m sorry Eazy E done it first Yh Yh he never wrote his lyrics but when he went solo he did . E started ruthless with his drug money back in the 80’s and he helped Dre our world class crew together in 84 . Later he made Nwa and ruthless records pac wasn’t around then he only came out in 1990 when he was in digital and that’s when he met e and Dre e and Dre are in the same videos as Tupac 2 same song and above the law e and REN is in that video sitting down so they already had a relationship

And Eazy had his own style had his own flow his flow was very unique and most rappers wouldn’t be here if wasn’t for him cube said it and Dre said bone thugs Kokane 187 cold 187 bare man said it Dre wouldn’t of gotten his proper recognition and Dre only turned gangsta and changed his style when e wanted to do gangsta music and Nwa took gangsta rap to a hole another level
