THANK YOU!!! I've heard that too, although I didn't realize that it's the same producer that did "Keep Ya Head Up", but I always was skeptical about the OG being said to be produced by Johnny J. It just never sounded like his production to me.

​@@WizzattzProductions From memory what happened was Johnny J was working on Until the End of Time/Better Dayz and someone interviewed him about it, they brought up U Can Call and JJ said "Is that the one based on a Joyce Sims track? I don't know what's going on with that at the moment" and since then people ran with it like he confirmed he produced it originally. It seems like he was likely talking about the remix they made for Better Dayz which the chorus was slightly based on Come into My Life by Joyce Sims, not the original.

Still one of the most amazing jobs of making a song that I simply had no desire ever to listen to, because that remix was just the worst and OG not much better, to a song I can bump any time and have in my own AEOM version replacing Whatz ya phone #. In hindsight, this collabo would’ve been god tier and this sound is just fitting in a way that Whatz ya phone # just wasn’t.

The funny thing is I heard the Jazzy Phe remix first right, which at that time I actually liked his production style from being familiar with his work with the artist Tela back in 96, specifically the song "Sho Nuff" (I still love that song and that beat to this day 😁) but for some reason his remix for 2Pac seemed aight. I was waiting to hear what the OG sounded like. By the time I heard the OG I was like "Uhhhhhh.... Ok, this is NOT what I was expecting". What made it even worse was I read somewhere that Johnny J actually produced that OG... I still don't believe it, but at the same time there is one other Johnny J production in that time period that I still can't listen to... "Fair Xchange" 🤮🤮🤮 (I know some people that actually like it. 🤷‍♂️)
