Hello! I'm glad to see you enjoyed your trip to Japan. I often see foreign tourists struggling with large luggage, and I noticed you had quite a bit to carry as well. Did you know that in Japan it's common to send your luggage directly to your hotel using a courier service? You can send from the airport or from your hotel, and there are direct stores or handling shops in every city. Some convenience stores (not all, but some) also offer this service. I always want to share this tip when I see foreigners carrying large suitcases or bags around train stations. There's even an app available in English. If you ever come back to Japan, remember this tip. I hope it proves useful for your future travels!
@2Passports1Dream Жыл бұрын
That’s so interesting!! We did see some leaflets about it but we weren’t sure how to use it 😅 next time we will definitely do it! Carrying all the bags in a crowded station wasn’t ideal hehe ☺️

@@2Passports1Dream Definitely give it a try next time! There are various services, but the most major one is likely YAMATO TRANSPORT CO., LTD., identifiable by its black cat logo. Try looking for their app - it offers English. I look forward to seeing your future vlogs from Japan!🥰

On the Tokaido Shinkansen (Tokyo to Osaka), even Green Class seats are not that different from Economy Class seats. This is because the number of passengers is so large that many seats are needed. If you want to sit in a more luxurious first class seat, we recommend that you take the Tohoku Shinkansen (Tokyo to Aomori) or Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tokyo to Kanazawa). Some seats come with luxurious meals and alcohol.

as someone commented, you are so lucky to catch both geisha and maiko. maiko's kimono outfit is more eye-catchy and i love them😍😍 they are still young and dependent and live with their trainer? house but geisha is more matured and can live their own life. we can tell the difference by hair design and obi belt style❤ anyway you are lucky to capture both in one scene.🎉🎉🎉

Seeing them in broad daylight amongst the crowds is not the same as seeing them in the dark alleys of Gion at night on their way to appointments. That felt much more authentic. So, Nozomi is not covered by the Rail Pass and I used Hikari and Kodama. Green car. They are all the same on this line, N700 is the train type. Hikari and Kodama are cheaper and it takes 20 more minutes to Osaka from Shingawa with Hikari, with Kodama a bit more. The smoking room doesn't stinks, they do have pretty good ventilation. :-)
