It is "over use syndrome". If you over use any part of your body, it tends to get sore, painful, weak or even disfunctional !

let me share with you, when you ride on the bike for more than 5 hours continuously, your nerve and muscle is being engaged or utilized (i mean the same set of muscles and nerve). You will get your muscle injured and exhausted . Your spine is being compressed for too long hours at the sitting position also. will have slower bood flow.when muscles get exhausted, the muscles will get cramping and jumping. this is normal, so the solution is every 2 hours ride, you need to get down from your bike and rest and walk for 10minutes or 15 minutes. Observe whether the symptoms will go away. Assume that you holding a piece of paper for 5 hours you will get cramp at your muscle. does it make sense?
