That's really sweet. I like that especially with how entangled this music, for me, is with anxiety. Not because I was a mentally unwell, but because unlike other bands I listened to there was just *constant* provocation and mental abuse by peers during that period if they heard someone liked MCR for a *second*. Kids, man. Eeeverything was "emo" and emo was subhuman. =A= This was my first time watching this without being super-critical - without five hundred other people's voices in my head commenting on being over-the-top, childish, overrated, autotuned, this and that. Honestly, thank fuck for almost being thirty and no longer giving a fuck. (Except about justice, obviously ;D)

I'm just appreciating how perfect it is that their logo has a big ol "G" given the memes about this song. Here's another one for whom MCR was... a touchstone band. I have hopes that maybe they'll release more music as a group eventually, but what music they have released to date brings me back to a time when their words resonated more with me than they do now, and I'll never be able to express with any degree of eloquence how much those songs mean to me. Long live the broken now mended.

I'm a middle aged woman, my daughter introduced me to MCR and I have to say they are one of my favorite bands. But this is my least favorite song of theirs, try Na na na na yeah that's a name of a song. Try Disenchanted, Sing, or Go. Rock on
@sluglove88914 жыл бұрын
You should listen to their album, "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love." if you haven't yet. The whole album is so great!
@Mrdestiny174 жыл бұрын
The black parade album is what i consider to be a master piece. There isnt a song on there that feels incomplete. MCR really put everything they had into the album. If you havent listened to it i suggest it highly. If you liked "nanananana" then "Dead!" And "House of wolves" are very similar to that song in their own ways. "this is how i disappear" "sharpest lives" are heavy rock also, but not the pump up wanna drive real fast, more like sing in the shower pretending to be on stage. "The End. Famous last words, and sleep" are more rock opera like "the black parade. "canser, and dissenchanted" are slow and more sad. Lastly: "mama, blood, and teenagers" are more quirkey and give the album more variety, with mama being the most agressive/in your face of the three. Sorry for the long reply, i really enjoyed the album and wanted to give you a short descriptions of the types of songs so you might be able to identify ones you might like

It’d be so cool if you guys did a reaction to this band called Set It Off, not many people make reactions to them but they’re more of a pop punk band that I think you may like. I’d suggest maybe some of their newer stuff like Hourglass or One Single Second, but Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing or Partners in Crime would be nice too, considering those two are fan favorites. However, you guys could literally react to any of their songs and I’d be thrilled! Anyway thanks for reading all this!
