@@raymndd4698 knock back is forced, you cant just hit enemies without knocking them back and pickaxes have dual purposes, so it makes no sense to get a steel sword before a steel pickaxe if you can hold your own with a pickaxe

Idk for others but i usually do: Get 30 wood Make a crafting table and Make Wooden Tools Get 25 stone And 30 wood Make cauldron and furnace Get 15 iron ores While its smelting Get 20 birch wood When its done smelting Get 10 more stone Create a Anvil Make a steel pick and axe ( I Would't reccomend making a steel sword cuz steel pickaxe and sword are pretty much the same) Get 60 mithril ore Smelt it While its smelting Get 30 Fir wood When its done smelting Craft mithril armor and tools+sword Get 10 wheat and wood Craft a rope Get 25 birch And 15 flint Make the bow table Get more oak wood Make a oak bow and arrows If you have more time try getting adamite tool first before armor Cuz from my exprience day 6-7 a boss will spawn

I'm sure you know this, but if you want to be even faster and more optimal you can toggle to another slot after each rock, or pickaxe swing to skip the cooldown for the swing. I find that it's it's not really worth it with an ax, but it's pretty key with a pickax and rock. Once you get enough powerups it becomes pointless, but if you're trying to save a bit of time early it's a pretty good trick. You can also get mad lucky with traders for early game weapons and food.

The best way honestly is to find a server in which you spawn next to the village with a smith and either get a mithril or adamite sword. Then go activate the stones that spawn regular enemies to get gold and keep unlocking common chests. Then move on to the statues and so forth.

i like rushing wood pick and farming challenges for the first 3 days to stack up on abilities then going for steel tools - mithril tools - adamantite tools sword and armor.

The game progresses with you, gives you more difficult monsters as more nights pass. You essentially have to keep up with it and you will quickly fall behind if you don't. You also want to get as many upgrades as possible.

I used the seed EPIC SEED to spawn right near two combined villages and if you destroy the two chiefs' chests then you get enough coin to buy an adamantite sword before the first night and if you start enough challenges then you can get an adamantite pick or axe.

i wouldn't suggest doing this, instead you should make a wood picaxe and look for a village and when nighttime hits grind atleast 75 coins from shrines also for an adamantite pic or axe whichever you get from the villagers, this will get you very ahead very early, then you can start mining obamium for armour and later on craft boss weapons

for me my strat is: get rocc, look for village, loot it, wait for night1 and beat it, loot chests (25 coin ones), get food (in village) beat night 2, get a adamantite sword drom smith if otherwise a mithril, grt bokill off the village (not that hard tbh) get the loot in the cheif chest, get some bows and arrows, armor and then alot more food, do battles to get coins for chests and also raid villages for coins and loot, then after i have 2 or 1 row filled with enchants or whatever (if you get dracula kill cows for more health), start fighting bosses, and then finally guardians. i fix the ship and fight bob

Another method you could save time with is quickswitching a tool for example, if you hit a tree with a rock, you can quickswitch and save mere seconds a day allowing you to do other things such as collecting food or other resources.

disclaimer, I've played this game for a total of like 20 hours on steam, I'm no expert, I'm just stating what worked best for me. getting Dracula, blue pills, and red pills early on is super good. I did a 400-day run and on my first night I had 2 Dracula's giving me 2 health per kill, so I murdered cows until nighttime. the shield from blue pills is also nice bc it regens without u needing broccoli or crimson dagger. ( crimson dagger early on would be ideal too but you'll be killing so many cows you'll have so much food it's up to you). also, remember chunkium armor is worse than the green ore ( I pulled an all-nighter leave me alone I am not trying to type that shit out rn). Gronk is also a fast ai with annoying attacks, a solution? wait for him to throw his swords, hide behind a tree or build a wall before he does the ai attacks builds over the player so u can place down some walls t avoid attacks or to run away and heal or craft, etc, then attack, when he does his Aoe take advantage of goomba stopping, and when he rushes you just jump over it ( the green frog help with this ) turn around and attack when he ai breaks bc the player is no longer in front of him and his rush ends. hope this helps 😂

What I usually do is find a village, get axe(wood) kill all mob for total of at least 75 coin and either smith or wild card and worst case scenario woodcutter has good weapon with 75 you can buy an adamantite sword. Oh ya also die cuz they random spawn of boss on day 5

It's actually not that hard to get adamanitite sword and pickaxe on day 1. Just find a village, break barrels for coins, loot chests for some temporary gear and coins, fight monsters at night, the trade with wildcards or smiths to get adamantite stuff for only 75 coins apeice
