i think in this case, he used grimbart as a threat to the Groza's, but the real threat is Gunther with that fat handcannon, since the two are always together, it'll be hard to pin both of them down, you have to force melee onto gunther but still have something attacking Grimbart either another groza squad or some kind of weapon system, AA gunners would just get mowed down. Grimbart is pretty damn fast moving backwards so Juut was able to not get shot up by the AT cannon but that's down to Juut's skill moreso than anything else. Juut should've taken Erlkonig for extra support, but he was anticipating more Groza spam so thats why he doubled down on Isogrims. i think the saxony meta will be to "rush" structures with eisenhans since they're so cheap and tanky, they'll force expensive counter-units that you can use grimbarts or infantry/weapon systems to cleanup, if not then eisenhans will just crush anything and everything in melee, Troy needs to build artillery or have his AT guns aim for the eisenhans, the early play of demolishing Troy's oil helped drain resources but also slow down his advancement into mechs i think Troy was down on Iron so much because he kept trying to push the left side and uncap Juut's VP flag, all the reinforcement costs started adding up (especially since even thou groza's are strong, if a unit dies thats expensive to replace and there's 5 of them)

Troyd actually could've won, he over extended himself with the Golay Gorod and neglecting some other factors that made his opponent have the advantage. Also Saxony has the best mechs right now, even though Rusviet dominates early game, Saxon will come back with a full on blitzkrieg.
