I thought things couldn't get easier than my previous guide, but here we are. No micro, upgrade towers and win. Never been easier than this. Hope this helps, have a great day everyone! Edit: some ppl have reported losing on rounds 62 and 95, which have purples on it. I've never had that happen but if your Wizard starts running low on zombies, move the Dartling away for a second and let the Wizard take the pops so he gets more zombies!

Failed several times on various rounds due to Prince of Darkness running out of ammo. Came up with alternate placement: Dartling at bottom of screen aiming straight up the vertical right-side path. Target point directly to the right of the fire. This kills more bloons closer to Prince of Darkness and keeps him well-stocked. Still enough loops in the path to kill everything on 1-99 with no micro. Have to focus target the BAD on 100 though, not enough damage along the shorter straight.

The middle path tier 2, 3 and 4 are very good upgrades up to round 60. The 5th tier upstage is just too expensive most of the time to rely on the tier 3 or 4 without getting some other strong tower.

This worked for me, during ZOMGs I put the Laser cannon/ RoD on the track, then as soon as they were down to MOABs. I moved the laser off the track and let the PoD do the last damage to get his pops up. This worked perfectly for me and i didnt even realize it was round 100 till the BAD came out. During 95, I put the plasma spot right at the start of the map then during 96, I moved it to the top left of the PoD. It still popped the MOABs and DDTs and the PoD got up to 3k graves

Looks like either the Prince or the laser got nerfed a bit (haven't read the patch notes yet so idk which one got nerfed) because I died on round 94 (which is before I got the Ray of Doom). So apparently, you now need a little bit of micro on round 94. You have to micro your laser so it kills the smaller ones first. Then you unlock the ray of doom on round 96 and everything becomes a walk in the park for the last 4 rounds. The time I completed that is today (17th June 2021) in case anyone's wondering.

I didn't unlock Resort CHIMPS yet so I'm doing Logs. Exact same thing you say, but different placement (and dart micro) The hardest part was getting 020 Wizard. Place it right under the pond and set him to strong until bloons get to the 2nd to last bend. (you could probably place dartling gunner anywhere)

This one no longer works due to neither towers popping purples, one 2tc combo I found to work was an 2-5-0 Spirit of the Forest(Druid) and a 2-5-0 M.A.D (Dartling Gunner)

This worked for me just now though it did require some micro, namely manual aim of the Dartling from like round 45 through 60ish when I got the Druid to X-5-0. I situated the towers in the same place as Ethan does in this video but with Druid in place of Wizard. I did 1-1-0 Druid > 1-2-0 Dartling > 1-3-0 Druid > 1-4-0 Dartling (used the ability a few times) > 2-5-0 Druid > 2-5-0 Dartling. I was able to get Dartling fully upgraded about round 90.

Tip: Even when you somehow manage to lose all of your zombies at rounds 62 and 95, i have a way of saving it. For 62, aim your dartling at the MOABs and micro the POD on strong, (ceramics are stronger than purples btw) and focus on the moabs only, the map should be long enough for you to forget about the purples, once the POD gets pops it will immediately spawn zombies, the zombies will pop purples, giving more zombies, although round 63 is kinda rough, the POD and plasma accelerator should take care of it fine. For round 95, same thing, focus the leads, DDTS and MOABs, zombies will spawn and that should be it for those rounds, good luck!

Use M.A.D. instead of the Ray of Doom. So... 0/2/5 Wizard, 2/5/0 Dartling. Only need to "micro" or use the Rocket Storm ability once during the entire run just on R98 (only part where bloons can possibly go through). Beat it first try on solo and co-op doing this o/

It worked for me you have to make sure to upgrade wizard to 024 before upgrading dartling to 320 otherwise the unpopped army cant take the purple bloons. There still might be some issue if the necromancer doesnt have his resource when too many purples come but dartling 520 seems to be able to pop purple based on what i saw during my game.

As of today it stills works but I recommend to micro managed just a little bit from round 94-100 so each time your POD has close to no dead zombies remove your laser from the track and let it get some zombies back and do this every single time, you should only be warry of round 94,95 and 99 but I still recommend doing this so the next round your POD has full zombies once again.

For anyone checking new comments, this strategy is not consistent anymore. You need a lot of micro in the 90s before you'd get 520 dartling. Instead, go for 250 dartling. Round 40 becomes a small issue (way better than mid-90s). However, you will need to use the MAD ability once, on round 98. Once the ZOMG gets in range of Prince of Darkness is when you want to activate it.

I can confirm this works today on version 41.2. No micro needed at all, not even to move the dartling away to help the wizard pop. And the BAD was popped before it even looped around the wizard. Round 48 was close and so were a few later rounds, so maybe it's RNG that you might have to try multiple times for. What helped is that I placed the wizard and dartling exactly where they are in the video (down to the pixel), aimed the dartling exactly where Ethan aimed it, and even changed the location exactly to where it should be at 3:40 after plasma accelerator was purchased. Losing might be from not doing the exact placements/aiming right.

I used this guide today (5/9/23) and was able to beat it with no close calls. Do what is suggested by most people--- turn off focus before round 90 and let the PoD get some pops every so often. Doom Ray was purchased at the beginning of round 94.

Just use POD and M.A.D. Instead of POD and ROD, upgrade the towers in the same order as in the video, use rocket storm on round 60 when the Bfb comes close enough to Dartling gun. And on round 98, wait until there are a few fortified bfb's and tons of fortified moab's. In that moment, use rocket storm and it will clean it all up. Try it in sandbox first to get the timing right.

What's up with round 62? I had no fuel for my necro and died. EDIT: Seems to be based on when you level the necro. A hacky way to prevent it is to make the laser only go up to the top left corner near the necro rounds 59-61. This way your necro is guaranteed extra fuel.

this strat still works very well and i won on the first try (January 20, 2023) while doing the exact same thing in the video but moving the dartling away for a couple of seconds one time in a late rounds (70 ish) to feed the wizard for more zombies. no need for micro for any round at all. edit: for round 48, moving away the dartling for a second before round 48 also works. there are also a couple of very CLOSE rounds so be aware

Please save yourself the trouble, don do this it doesn't work 99% of the time, just use a M.A.D instead, it only requires micro at round 98, and even then just use the ability when all the moabs and ddts are going around the wizard. other than that you can basically just put your mouse in the middle of the track at the start and use the ability if it gets a little spicy.

What makes a 2TC combo considered “Easy”? I know! No RNG, no close rounds, and no micro. Prince of Darkness + Ray of Doom is the way!

Had to micro on 80 and 85 (both are zomg rounds) since the prince of darkness spent all of his zombies on bfbs. But both of these micros were very easy, so I completed normally!

Still works in patch 36! I did lazily micro rounds 60-80 and 95-100 just to make sure the PoD didn't run out of ammo. Not sure I needed to though. Also the RoD absolutely annihilated the the BAD.

To all people who say this doesnt work: it still does, just now got it from this guide. It only depends very heavily on how you position your plasma accellerator (before 96) so that the beam also hits bloons that are right above the necro, on that piece of path. The positioning of the dartling gunner is crucial for this, get it as far to the edge of the map, and as close to the track above it as possible. Also, it only barely works, as in, it does not work on Impoppable (no 2tc, but whatever) because the price of everything is slightly higher, and through this I found out it is very important to buy the ray of doom right the second you can, otherwise you may very well die on 96. I had no problems with the necro running out of graveyard, but if you do, just aim the dartling so that only the necro is popping, and have it run out of graveyard so the wall of fire can fill the graveyard right back up again. However, this should not be a problem at all in the later rounds (80+) with fortified BFB and ZOMG, since the necro is gonna be constantly filling itself up anyway. If you're having problems with the late 90's, just micro the ray of doom at all ZOMG's you see, the necro does the rest. Very good video, and nonetheless still very easy strategy to carry out and get what was previously one of the harder achievements in the game.

So I failed in this thrice while trying out this strat. But then on the 4th attempt I got it. You just have faith and keep trying. You will succeed! Slow it down from level 90 onwards and get Ray of Doom as soon as possible.

I tried this and it worked for me. The necromancer's undead bloons helped out against those pesky purple bloons. There was one time where the purples almost got past. Plus the recent patch decreasing the Ray of Doom's cost helped get it out much earlier and allowed me to decimate the 90s. Even the DDTs were no match. However, I did have to switch the gunner to "normal" manual targeting as the pair did struggle with some of the dense rounds with fortified MOABS, specifically the fortified ZOMGs and fortified DDTs. I did struggle a little with the BAD's children and probably would have lost if I didn't have manual aiming.

The cost of the ray of doom was lowered a lot so I got it on round 93 rather than 96.

26/04/2022 - Use 2-5-0 Dartling instead of 5-2-0. Ability on Round 98. Really easy. Tried because of Nocona Gula's comment below!

For 2tc, I did Sauda + Apache prime/ heli pilot. I only had to click the upgrade buttons lol (sauda op!)

Even 2 years later when the ray of doom only cost 86,400 you can't afford it if you get the prince of darkness because you die every time on round 92 to the ceramics. The ray of doom used to cost over 110k and even now when it's cheaper you can't afford it by the time you need it. And the 20 minutes for a 2TC is a lie because it now takes 30 minutes and you can't even get the upgrades which are now cheaper by the time eathien Reed was able to afford it.
