Thanks for this Information I gave Satie full credit. I had a listen to the original and it's very nice. Jerry Dammers is the Genius of my Generation so it's not surprising he would re work something by Erik Satie.

As soon as I heard the beggining, I recognized the work of the magnificient Éric Satie, French avant-garde classical composer, mostly known for Les Gymnopédies.I still checked on Google, although I knew the answer, having known Satie's music all my life & I was right. The Spatial gave it a whole new excellent sound, but the real author of this is Satie.They even credit him at the end. He was a true GENIUS! Thx so much for this brilliant cover! I'd really appreciate if u plz credited Satie.

Sorry for the multiple replies....but with all this talk, I forgot to thank you for the credits. Thank you very much! The more I listen to this adaptation, the more I love it. It's simply BRILLIANT! I've been wondering for a long time where you dig up all this (I know you won't tell me). But that's why I said, as a joke, I ''think'' we're of the same generation, meaning: are you Jerry? The theory doesn't work though cos you can't be Terry as well (you dig up lots of his rare stuff too).

I don't find it surprising either ( had forgotten that Erik is written with a k btw). We're of the same generation I think and I'd certainly add Terry as the genius of my generation, without taking anything away from Jerry.
