Yes! Finally! I'm so glad you hit on the whole Nagash made these guys first thing. It's so interesting to me how everyone was like omg Nagash calm down Sigmar didn't steal anything but Sigmar actually stole his entire idea for an army and the leader for the army too. The first Death Faction I do like! I know some people don't quite dig their organic forms but that's something I can really appreciate about these models. It's something completely different and yet the same. The Necropolis Stalkers have to be my favourites though - such beasts!!

I just ordered the core rulebook, the generals handbook, and the battle tome for the ossiarch bonereapers. Can't wait to actually order some models once i figure out what I want. I was originally going to start with wh40k but then I saw these guys and was like yup I'm getting them.

One of the elements of the army I’m appreciating is the durability. They aren’t spindly masses of skeletons like you said and even their battle line is quite durable. While slow they have a lot of tricks to move up the board all of a sudden

Great Video! Would like to ask if the battletome discusses anything on how the Bonereapers interact with the Nighthaunt, since in my mind they are in direct competition with each other for SOULS... I assume the Nighthaunt are not interested in the BONES though..... :). Also in that regard, how does a Soul end up as a Bonereaper? or as a Nighthaunt?

The book you are refering to is it the Battledome or the novel Bonereapers by David Guymer? Have read the last one. I am kinda new to this (have read some novels and short stories) and i love the amount of lore you just can creates stories from. :D Btw i love your video. You have a nice reading voice and do not speak to fast fast or to slow. :D Btw btw. I am considering starting to paint minitures and due to the Ossiarch Bonereapers have such a cool lore i am considering to start with them. The lore is great- actually some of the best in AOS. But the miniatures just fail to menace. I mean when you realise the harvester has a crotch goblin it just loses the ability to be scary.

Really? For me not so much when that thing is peeling off flesh of still living enemies and passing chunks of gore to all the little hands into a corpse dumpster on its back. I'm fully revolted in a good way. Imagine being. Ortally wonder unable to escape and that thing comes near and starts to fillet you and tear bones out their sockets fully indifferent to your screams.

I'm absolutely loving painting these... The fact that they are predominantly bone makes them very fast to paint up to a very reasonable standard. I loved the morghast/mortarch aesthetic as well, so I really like the models (although I could see people who like their undead more "traditional Victorian era fantasy" not being keen on these).
