2V Mustang Gets Fuel Injectors (24lb Injectors)

Poor guys !! 2 weeks per year vacation only :( . One of the little inconveniences of working in the US. I thought youd need fuel pump and MAF sensor upgrades too. Glad it runs well :)

Yes for real. Thank you and yes I have an upgraded pump waiting to go in and an upgraded or recalibrated MAF would do better.

I put 24lb cobra injectors in my 97 gt with multiple bolt ons. It throws a code once I installed injectors,but ran good. What tuner do you have? I had bama tune for mine but it throws code.

I find that weird the old one new Edge got orangish yellowish 19 lb injector 2002 New Edge. 21 pound pink injectors I wonder what their reasoning was for that at the factory

late 02 gt mustangs started receiving pink 24 lb because ford said the 19lb were running at 80% duty cycle so they switched to 24lb and from late 02 -04 was pink 24lb @@angelowhite9416

With a tune yes. When I got my car it already had 24lb injectors, I essentially was just installing these to clean out and check the injectors that were in the car. Plus it's always nice to car a spare or 8 😂

I have only drove it a few times and unfortunately do to so much rain I haven't been able to take it to the track. I'm still messing around with the tune true sct but it seems to run better on the stock injector tune. I think do to the stock map sensor. Also when I bought the car it had a different brand of 24lbs injectors so idk what the stock size would feel like if even any noticeable difference.

You need to change your mass airflow sensor get one for the cobra or itll run like crap

Yeah I think a 14.0 Is good with no tune. You should be at a 13.4 give or take .1 when you get a tune. What tires are you running. How is the launch? What's was your 60'?

Usually over time they start twisting a little and throws the weight off. Even a fraction can make a difference when you're talking about a drive shaft.... something that spins really fast.
