one thing that would have helped you guys with the scramjet is that when you are in the air and you want to stop your momentum you can hold the button that you use to select different characters in story mode and select one of them, don't actually enter story mode though just wait until you either can't hear the game anymore or engine, then back out of the screen and you should start to fall but will not have any forward momentum.

There's no sense in arguing over little stuff, haha, but a healthy discussion is always welcome But in all seriousness, so on ps4, the boost button is R1... I'll press R1 to boost and like, say you go the wrong direction, press R1 again. It cuts off the boost even if it's midway through it. Ummmmm, I don't remember the dudes name, but the dude that always pulls off the crazy SJ stunts... watch his videos, and you'll see him cut the boost off sometimes in the middle of the flight
