DannnyS DennyS in fact there are two kinds of cav: 1.mealy (hussar,uhlan,...): good against light (ranged) infantry, arti and settlers. weak against heavy inf and cav with range. 2. cav with range (bowriders, dragoons,...) are used to fight against other cav (especially mealy cav) and arti. but they are weak in mealy combat and they suck against skirms, lbow (and ofc against heavy inf in mealy fight, but you can do hit and run). look at your settings, you activate somewhere the statistics of your units and then you can see all theire damage multipliers.

Ksibi Badis Russia or Ottomans. Japan, Britain, Dutch are all good for booms
