i agree with Lojo and Jon--peoples champs--all done on foot and with no guides. yeah, 1 rod and flair strategized and got the best fishin spot--LA. plus they were on a boat, in freshwater AND salt water AND literally had two "guides" for the whole competition !!! great mini series though, lets go GOOGANS !

I think you all should get an Arizona Googan Challenge going! Az represent! Havasu is awesome but the 3.75 lbs sunfish aside, you could get all the species within 2 hours. There’s striper in Lake Pleasant, 3 trout species with smallies at Willow springs, lmb, channel, flatheads and bluegill anywhere in phx, crappie at pleasant and Bartlett, suckers and pikeminnow at the verde river, invasive species such as Texas cichlids, tilapia, pleco, at PIR, common and grass carp at Kiwanis, and goldfish at Tempe Town Lake.
