Some combination ideas: Mine + Shrinkray, make a mine and make it tiny, tiny mines are hard to spot and follow people like homing missiles: 14:34 Mine + Smoke, make a mine and throw a smoke grenade at it, hides the mine and makes the explosion bigger.

Some ideas for the future would be an "only range weapons" round: bow, missile, grenade, smoke bomb, mines and grapling hook. But also, an "only physical weapons" round: ground pound, sonic, the one that turns you into a boulder, the one that turns you into a block, the one that lets you pull platforms, buff guy and maybe drill (but it's too op, so maybe not)

While not really combo-y try messing around with the grapple hook more. If you’re close to another perosn it will hook them instead. It can make pairing it with the jet booster or missile interesting. Or by pairing it with the teleport swap, teleport someone over the water and use the hook to save yourself if you mess it up. You can also turn yourself into a wrecking ball by attaching to something and then using the rock ability

Hook someone and then use the sonic ability on a smallish platform. It literally reels them in to a wheel of death.

heres some thing ive done in this game that were neat: grow ray on a mine to make it essentially a nuke, then use teleport to spawn it on other players. 2 revives to create a clone army all shrink rays, eat everyone clone army with black hole for infinite balck holes

Oppenheimer Combo Step 1. Select 2 growth rays and 1 grenade Step 2. Grow yourself as big as possible using the reflection off the water Step 3. Throw grenade into the air Step 4. Shoot the grenade twice (one shot per growth ray)

I think using a set of self made rules or restrictions could help keep the game fun and fresh, as well as potentially make it more interesting for competitive play. A big aspect of this game that I think helps with the balance is how much potential for counter picking there is. because even if drill or revive spam are overpowered, they are entirely capable of being beaten through things like the boulder which makes you immune to drill and kills any drills on contact, or the mines which can be planted next to revives to essentially nullify them. So maybe a draft/Rounds style ruleset where losers get the opportunity to adjust say, ability they have to combat whatever strategy the winner was using. This could help help keep the game interesting as what abilities are good is really dependent on what abilities your opponents have, so constantly shifting ability sets will lead to constantly shifting metas.

Something I thought of a few weeks ago regarding the teams was that it's a 1v3 was a sort of hoarde mode- the three would all have two revives and one ability of their choice, while the one has all abilities of their choice. The only downside I can think of is that unless if teams can be swapped in-between rounds, it could be time consuming to swap who has what role. (edit: the za warudo might have to be banned during this) And of course I still would like to see someone clone themselves to infinity

Things you can do with grow and shrink rays: You can shoot yourself and shrink/grow by shooting the ground, which is a reflection. You can also grow a black hole and reverse it by shrinking it.

I have an insane combo for teams. One has a macho and the other has the sonic. The macho grabs land. The sonic goes on the grabbed land and starts up the sonic. Macho throws the land with the sonic and then sonic starts rollin around

I'd love to see a Worms video with Aenne! We actually did get a new Worms game in 2020, Worms Rumble, but that one's a team-based battle royale with worms-esque mechanics, doesn't really feel like the rest of the series. I'd personally prefer Worms W.M.D, but Worms Revolution's a pretty solid one too!

An idea could be everyone with these abilities, Grapple, Teleport, and Smoke. You would have to do trickery and misplacements to win. So the set up would be a pacifist build, only can be mess with people and no real way to kill each other. It would be fun

One idea is a boss battle esc thing with 1 player being allowed to use 3 powers they picked out and the other 3 only being allowed to use 1 random one and swapping the boss every 5 rounds or something

@@austinclark1238 I've been watching since 2016, and sometimes go back to videos even older than that. I really don't think that being competitive in all of the 1000+ games they've played would really be healthy- since to be competitive you would have to study the game and its mechanics, and see how certain items or skills fair against others. Their friendship are also not based on that kind of thing. They already spend a lot of time on this channel, their twitch channel, their individual channels, their store, their other jobs/hobbies, etc, this is not something that should be added to their already busy schedules. If you want gameplay of people playing local/online games competitively, there are countless options out there
