Nice-looking bike. In 1983 I bought a brand new xl600r and really enjoyed it. Would like to find another one or something similar someday. Just last week I found a 1986 Honda V65 Magna with 22000 original miles and snagged it for $2,250 so I am one happy guy

I had a 84' XL350R, just like this one, and I cannot believe how easy you kicked that thing over. Seriously, I remember having to stomp on that bad boy, and never would have been able to start it from a non-seated position.

There’s a procedure to starting it, you need to get it to top dead centre

I had that bike when it was brand new, I was 16 years old My buddy bought it, and I loved it He loved my 73 Grand Prix SJ (455) I wanted him to throw in the helmet He wanted $100 bucks on top. He folded before I did, because that car was beating most everyone in town But I was in love with that bike.

Hondas do have great resale value..problem is though some people think even junk Hondas are worth big money..saw an absolute piece of crap 89' CR500 & the owner was asking 1500 for. Seriously would have given the guy 150 bucks. Very nice XL & as usual another good video.

Ive got a question for everyone i have a 96 cr125 i dont know what is wrong with it when i pull in the clutch it sounds normal but when i release it it makes a sound and kinda grinds and doesn't sound normal if anyone can help id appreciate it thanks

Grady Steinman just take the clutch cover off and see if the plates are warped or if there is notching in the basket.
