2x Modified Seat Leon Cupra DRIVE - External Exhaust Sounds - GoPro Internal POV

Hi all,
Went for a nice drive on a day with some good weather and thought I'd get some cool footage and sound clips! Enjoy :)
Camera: GoPro Hero Session & GoPro 6 Black
Cars: 2016 Seat Leon Cupra 290 Black Edition, Manual -Ramair Intake, intake hose and MTC Hi-FLOW Turbo Elbow, Powerflex Polybush Dogbone mount, but when standard, made 318bhp and 280ftlbs at Surrey Rolling Road.
2016 Seat Leon Cupra 290 Black Edition, DSG - H&R springs, Spacers, Powerflex Polybush Dogbone Mount, Resonator Delete, Ramair Filter, MST Intake Hose, MST Hi-Flow Turbo Elbow and Revo Turbo Muffler Delete.
Ramair Intake, intake hose and MTC Hi-FLOW Turbo Elbow, Powerflex Polybush Dogbone mount, but when standard, made 318bhp and 280ftlbs at Surrey Rolling Road.

man the car sounds awesome, im looking to buy a 280 manual cupra, do u get dsg like farts with the manual when changing at high revs? where can i find more sounds of your car?

Thanks for the kind words! You do get DSG farts, but you only really hear them with a resonator delete as in this video. If you change at redline you'll get a loud bang too, as well as when the car breaks traction. There are a few videos on my channel :)

They're great fun! They're definitely not as premium as the R or S3 but I think from a driver's perspective they're a fantastic car. If it's not in the description, then, from memory it was: Ramair intake, intake pipe and MTC Hi-Flow turbo elbow VagSport Res Delete Standard Map I ended up doing a stage 1 map to 375bhp and it was fantastic.

Thanks Rhys, appreciate the comment. Not really. The clutches are very poor, and the EA888 engine suffers the water pump issue but it’s easily resolved with new pump/thermostat. The manuals with an improved clutch are very fun cars and equally as capable as DSG.

@@rhyslam5617 No worries! I have a Helix V2 clutch with a braided line and delay valve removal, though the car wasn’t mapped in this video and had the standard clutch and shifter.

Hello, First off you have a sick sounding cupra ! I have a question becouse i have really big problems with my manual cupra 280, i have been at 3 vw dealer ships ,they cant figure it out. My car has at 2500rpm a hesitation/ bucking that makes me crazy ! Do have something similar? Sorry for my bad Englisch 😅 Greeting from Germany!

Sometimes in 3rd gear I'd get a very slight blip (almost like a misfire) at 2-3k, but this is perfectly normal.
