2x NEW 991.2 GT3RS chasing on the Nordschleife + near crash//.

Second to last lap of a "boring" day at the Nordschleife.
So many closures, accidents & lot's of bad driving traffic. Not to speak of my own almost crash because of another driver who didn't look in his mirrors and pushes me onto the grass at Lauda Links. Again so close pfff.
But nice to see another 991.2GT3RS being pushed hard. My Michelin Cup 2 N2 tires were at the very end after having done 60-70 laps with them which is really not bad when driving hard on the Nordschleife.

Yes, absolutely. The 2RS has gotten the record because of the parts in between the corners and a much bigger top speed on the long straight. Downforce and grip wise the 3RS wins by a mile. To me the 3RS is the real “road race car” & the closest you can get to the GT3CUP & R Porsche racecars.

A bit of both. I feel the rear moving when I brake hard but mostly it’s me checking for grip before I turn in, this because i’m still learning the car and is a self calibrating thing I tend to do.

I think it hasn’t been only the fault of the bmw driver but also your fault. You thought that the bmw driver would let you pass by because he let the other gt3 pass by. So You relied on him, which is very dangerous like we have seen. You could not be sure that he has seen you. Sorry für mein schlechtes Englisch. Hoffe man hats verstanden. BMW, no turn signal to pass. Assuming they will stay right, Big Mistake. Both at fault. Turn signals make the laps safer and faster.

At any situation, if a vehicle is not indicating then the automatic assumption is that he is not going to overtake/change lanes. Super simple. BMW is 100% at fault.

Ring Dave no, sir, BMW only. If you change your position on the road/track and move to another strip you must be sure that you won’t be an obstacle to the car which drive on its strip. In the other cases it may result as a crush.

Put yourself for a second or a at least a lap :) into a bmw driver position. Since you can afford to drive a Porsche you can afford a lap or two more to finance. What are the current rules? If the BMW did not right signal then you have no reason to expect him to stay right. He did not signal left for the pass. He just does not use his turn signals. He did not signal with right turn signal for the green GT3. And the Green GT3 did not signal for passing. BAD driving. Use your turn signals please.

i dont know why , it feels like you cant gave all out your skills. When semi straight line , you only did 200-230 then pull the throtle , it feels like you are scared to crash. Like other driver using porsche also , they did 230-250km/h , 140-160 for every light corner. Same place nurburgring.

You have to be more careful, although it was bmw fault, you have to have always in mind that you are in a trackday. You sometimes are very aggressive trying to pass other cars.
