I was surprised that I got nothing better than a 3* soul, despite pulling pretty much all my reserves. A nerf does explain my bad pulls.

The nerf is only to Immortal stones, so unless you pulled only those, no, it doesn't.

Bad pulls 😔. What aren’t you using more resources. I get having enough to cover an event or two, but it seems like you are just holding yourself back for no reason. No one needs that many resources in reserve, and I’m probably the most conservative person in my clan so I kind of get it. 😉

What's the real upside? A small chance at a couple meta champs he doesn't actually need for anything? His account is already in a great place and the odds of improving it by going for these less than amazing events is low to say the least. At this stage it's better to complete content with what we already have and save up resources for the eventual Narses-type event where they offer a real gamechanger or, in this case for immortals, a proper 2x where you get great odds for those. I personally still go all in for souls as I still need a little help in live arena and hydra since I don't have Trunda but I'm quickly reaching the stage where I'll be doing the same as Eharbad is.

I complete quite a lot of events - at least up until the guaranteed rewards. I try to demonstrate how to play the game sustainably and get all the big rewards from key events

I have a free and a pay account. From CB in the last month I have had 15 golds on the free account and 7 on the paid. Need to get better luck on my main.
