To add on the last step, if the last yellow cube is on the left facing bottom side (not the bottom right facing side), you should start the sequence with the yellow on the bottom right 'hand' side (the side in your right hand).

You can get under 15 seconds with lots of practice, but I recommend learning Ortega if you're serious about being fast

Better way to solver the first layer: Make 3 white pieces (doesn't half to be in the right place) Place the last piece under the unsolved slot. Do R' D R D'. (You may half to do it multiple times) Look for a solved bar around the solved side. (If you don't have one, do it from anywhere) Put the solved bar on the back. Do R' D R L' D' L R' D R. (if you didn't have a bar put the now solved bar on the back and do it normally one more time.

Everytime I've tried the unsolved yellow pieces are always in the lower left corner..one will be in the lower right but that's it..and several times I have two yellow squares already set in place and the other two left are side by side on the same side..ive solved it before but their technique is more complex this one is easy to remember but for some reason I can't make it happen

Thanks! It does work but it seams like it has to be set up prior to solve it quickly. After a few hours I was able to solve it anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes. Hence my comment depends on how it is set up. I could be wrong since I’m just beginning but overall I have solved a messed up cube that has been sitting on my desk for the last year!

Make sure all are on the bottom when you start. Then turn the bottom every time you want to get another yellow piece to the solving spot (bottom right)

There are 2 very common mistakes that can happen here: 1. When repeating those 4 turns to rotate the yellow corners, make sure you always complete the last upper turn, even if it seems unnecessary. 2. On the last step, after you correctly rotate one of the pieces, do not rotate the cube. To get the next corner into position, just turn the bottom layer to get it into position. (Also, why are you looking at this video to learn the cube? This isn't a walkthrough, it's just an example solve)
