Thatcher was so damn horrible. It’s sad that his wife made more of an effort to get to know Meredith, and he didn’t even try to, even with her full support. Then when he loses her, he blames Meredith and cuts her out. It wasn’t her fault, she was only an intern. He dangled the hope of having a family in front of her and took it away just like that. His character is so infuriating.
