What Power numbers are you making, George? On 98 pump or race fuel? Should be an absolute weapon!

143kw on 98octane, cant wait to try it out soon

@@dougm0 142kW is the stock power? Or are you talking wheel power? And you mean 98 octane, not kW :D

@@grossmeister1181 sorry, 98 octane and wheel kw. A stock 2zz makes about 110kw on this dyno. i previously had a lightly modified 1zz that made 106kw (cams,exhuast,intake,tune)

Hey George, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm hearing a harsh noise in this run its roughly around 2-3k rpm. Kinda sounds like knock, I've recently built a 2zz similar to this with the wisco piston and stage 2 cam and its making what i think is the same sound which is concerning. Can you confirm that you were experiencing this noise and if it got resolved in the tuning?

hey Paul, that noise is reverberation back through the intake at the start of the run. The engine is still running strong after many track events and road kms

I saw your latest video, it does look great. Good to know I'm not going crazy in that it sounded so different to the old engine then
