If you set up off your front or back foot you’re changing the loft of the club and the Rule of 12 just went out the window.

Narrower stance, more weight on the left ? The kid was too far from the ball. Dont think any had clubhead on its toe ?

@@1LStudios I have just been told about the rule of 12 and we are in lockdown in the UK so I can't get out to try it....Killing me!

@@davefiver I know.... Maybe use this time to practice the process to inform your landing spot and club selection. One thing to keep in mind if you have modern, super strong lofted irons and you are not getting good results, try the rule of 13 to inform your club selection... Let me know how it works.

@@1LStudios I am practicing landing on different spots up to 4 yards away at the moment. My clubs are apex pro '16 so fairly traditional lofts I believe. But I will definitely change the number depending on green speeds

Great video, thanks! Tried this today and got the club selection down but think I was chipping it too hard and it was running by. Is there a way to somehow control that?

Hey Rich thanks for watching! The key is to eliminate wrist hinge and the mentality of hitting the ball. The motion should be more akin to the flow of a putting stroke with a gradual rhythm and minimal hinge. Let the club do the work. Email me a vid of your swing @ cwonnell@gmail.com
