Sir have look of TAT for P4 process (11-4=7) while process exit at 14th unit so it should be (14-4=10)

Your method of calculating TAT and WT is the best. If we don't make any mistake in the Gantt chart, then there is no chance in miscalculation of CT, TAT and WT..

sir there is a problem in waiting time, according to gainnt chart and according to table there is differnt waiting time in every PRI-EMPTIVE algorithms of round robin ,priority scheduling. so sir have a look and please clear this !!

Sir TAT for process P4 10 and Waiting time is 7. TAT = 14-4=10 As P5 is arriving at time 4 sec and cpu alloted at 9sec. So it waited there for 5 sec and than again alloted at 13 sec after 11 sec. So waited 2 sec again . 5+2 =7 sec is the waiting time.

can someone help me to solve this 1. Assume that there are n processes in a ready queue when the time quantum is q. A. Determine the average wait time of the processes. B. Determine the wait time for a new process if the process goes back to the beginning of the ready queue. C. Calculate the average turn-around time if the execution time of processes is m. When the processes are finished, assume that they are executed sequentially. D. Calculate the average throughput using the above results.

there's a small error in P4, P4 is leaving CPU at 14, so TAT would be 10 (14-4) and WT will be 7 (10-3).

Arrival time is always sequential. We assume first process arrived at 0th sec , 2nd process at 1st sec, 3rd process at 2nd sec... And so on. So data is wrong

Dear Sir : (its urgent) I have a Round Robin priority based Question Q : "Draw Gantt chart and compute average waiting time using priority scheduling. Schedule processes having equal priority with round-robin using a time quantum of 2 milliseconds" what is the meaning of "having equal priority with round-robin" should I consider : 1 - Higher Number = High Priority 2 - Lower Number = High priority
