We're blessed to have Bishop Andy+ leading our Diocese of Texas, and to have the opportunity to hear him joining the exceptional dean and staff and worship team of America's home church, the National Cathedral. Wonderful to see my bishop sharing his gifts of heart and mind, and joined by the spirits of Howard Thurman and the weeping prophet Jeremiah - may the churches and cathedrals soon return to safety in congregational worship. Joy, peace, safety and all good to you, sisters, brothers, friends, in Christ's holy love.

The prelude "A City Called Heaven" should be recorded and shared. For me, right now, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Thank you.

What a sermon! Wow, and Jan’s prayer and pacing, and beautiful piano/singing. Will listen again to today’s service-“the genuine.” And search for your donation tab.

Well, I am a visitor here. I agree with almost all of the sermon, but not the Nicene Creed. Very good music and cathedral.

The Episcopal church does not teach transubstantiation, right??
@tomasmucha21333 жыл бұрын
Search the Scriptures.
@nancysoboluesky21453 жыл бұрын
@@tomasmucha2133 The Scriptures do not teach transubstantiation, but the Roman Catholic church teaches it anyway. Years ago I visited an Anglican church and I was told they do not teach it.

@@nancysoboluesky2145 Ms. Nancy, you have answered your own question. Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Soli Deo Gloria, Solus Christus. Amen
@nancysoboluesky21453 жыл бұрын
@@tomasmucha2133 I am glad u believe in Sola Scriptura, the Bible only, Sola Fide, only faith, only Grace, etc. But does the Anglican church in USA teach that?

2 Tim 1:7 - staying closed sure seems to be making a decision in a fearful spirit. Why not open the doors and let the body of Christ decide if they are comfortable attending service. Imagine that, empowering the sheep to make there own free will choices. That sure sounds like what our country was founded on... Would Jesus turn the people away, no he wouldn't and the Shepard's of the Church will be judged for it ultimately.

Sheep are known for needing a shepherd to leads them, not being able to make their own, wise and independent decisions. Jesus isn't turning anyone away as we worship together online. Will those shepherds whose churches have been wide open and that have become super--spreaders bear responsibility for needless illnesses and deaths?
