Why have controlled destruction skill gem when u have crit in the skill tree and items?

Hello Rita, how are you? This is a very common doubt. Let me explain with an example: During the character construction you'll gather a lot of "Increased Critical Chance" in your weapons, gear, tree, jewels, gems. Lets say that on level 85 you have 600% Increased Critical Chance, it means that if you had a base Critical Chance of 10% now you have 70% chance of dealing a Critical Hit. Equiping Controlled Destruction you lose 100%, so 600% - 100% = 500%. Now you have 60% chance of dealing a Critical Hit but all the extra damage from Controlled Destruction. Hi guys, i have a question regarding gc totems, is 100% cold conversion required for end game bosses/mobs? will 80% be enough? im not sure if i should use 2 long winter jewels to get 100% conversion, i could get hrimsorrow but my life and resist will be lower. if i do get 100% cold conversion, should i use frostbite or elemental weakness? thanks

Use Frost bolt + Frost bomb ! works well together and u can clean up easily till u can get ancestral bond + gct

I prefer using normal glacial cascade at lvl 28. U can also start with ancestral call + molten strike to lvl 28 with phys weapon
