What if the underlying painting was a template outline used for portrait painting or a discard painting that simply painted over. I'm sure materials could not be wasted but perhaps reused.

Leonardo didn't use other people's junk canvases ever... why here? And it's a good copy by a talented artist, sure, but it just looks slightly off. The Isleworth doesn't look off. So either it was a more talented copyist or it really is a Leonardo. So exciting.

I've been studying about Leonardo's "code", and the hidden lineage of Jesus and the figure of Mary Magdelene. The Mona Lisa somehow seems to present into this composite storyline as a minor character possibly signifying a member of this lineage. The bloodline was known only to a very few elites who I'm sure were apprised of the marriage of Jesus and Mary and their later life in Tibet. Leonardo was aware of these "heretical" secrets and provided myriads of clues in his works. I believe he also had access to some form of remote viewing or time contraction. He is likely one of the most enigmatic figures in history, a veritable "bandit" who made away with the lies of the Vatican and their invented character "Jesus Christ".

I don’t know where you get these ideas from !! Probably from a fertile imagination. I don’t mean to say that the official version is accurate either, quite the contrary. But I can tell you that you are far from the truth.

@@josepcivil8090 I appreciate that you believe what the churches are taught through pastors who don't have the whole story. I realize that his is not really the most important matter, although it plays into things on a grand level. Jesus was married and had children, this and many other facts were kept out of a narrative that was purposely trimmed in an attempt to tell a larger story.
