It was like a heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders when she said “I don’t know my visual areas all that well, it gets real complicated once you leave V1”. Sometimes I feel like a dummy for not being able to remember brain anatomy. It’s a relief to know that even someone like her has trouble with it.

It's a bit creepy how machine-like the brain really is...I guess it's just biological screws and wires

No... Our brains are nothing like a computer. A computer is a man-made tool. How did man make it? Using his brain! How did the brain help make it? The way the brain makes everything! What are the results? All man-made tools operate by the same rules our brain uses to achieve similar results. So the brain makes a brain but way less advanced.

I thought left hemisphere only got info from right visual field. But this is showing it to get all theta values. Which view is correct? Or do both hemispheres get a huge overlapping center, and left hemisphere gets extra far-right visual field, and right hemisphere gets extra far-left visual field?
